Protect your head with the durable, lightweight K2 Crossfire Helmet, which features adjustable venting and headphone compatibility. K2 makes this helmet with a polycarbonate shell over lightweight EPS foam, so it's rugged, yet tips the scales at less than a typical hard shell. Its Active Matrix ventilation has sliders to increase air flow on hotter days or seal up in blower pow. The Crossfire's new K2Dialed fit system allows one-handed, glove-friendly adjustments, even mid-run. The Crossfire comes equipped with K2's Baseline Audio speakers; slip the speakers in and out of ear pad pockets, and choose whether to be wired or not.
The K2 Crossfire Helmet crosses the boundary between big-mountain function and progressive style. Its smooth shell, mini-visor and low-profile look say “I’m about to send the line you passed up” while the discreet adjustable venting and K2dialed fit system keep it warm and snug. The Crossfire is compatible with the BT Link and Baseline ACS audio systems(not included), so you can keep your stoke up without killing your peripheral hearing.

Great fit for Head, but not for Oakley A Frames
| Rating: | ![]() |
Let me first start out by saying this is a sweet looking and fitting helmet. I purchased the Matte Black, and I love the style. The fit is great because of the adjustable dial on the back. So I was extremely happy with the fit. Now to the downside...I wear Oakley A frames. (2 diff. pairs-Fire, HI Yellow) for around a 100 each. This type of Oakley goggles does not fit this helmet very well at all. For me, there is a huge gap and the goggles just do not sit right (crooked) on my face/eyes. Because of this I had a huge decision to make. Do I return the helmet or do I return the 2 pairs of goggles? Well, I sent the Crossfire back.........purchased the Smith Maze....fits my A Frames perfectly........

| In a size large this helmet does not fit Oakley A Frames or Smith Prodigy goggles well. Huge gaps between the temple and eyebrow. | |

Nice but cold ears | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
The helmet is pretty lightweight/comfortable overall and the venting is easy to use when you're skiing, but the ear things have mesh inserts in them, which means that if you're not wearing anything on your ears, they're going to be really cold. Maybe this is intentional so you'll run out to buy the ear audio things for the helmet, but I've heard they don't work very well.

It doesn't come with speakers

The product description may say it comes equipped w/ speakers but it doesn't. You have to buy the speakers separately for another $80 or something.
