Love love love these sunglasses! I have tried more sunglass styles, brands, etc than I could ever count (Oakley, Smith...) and this is literally the first pair that fits me. I always have issues with the temple length and either the glasses sit on my ears and then don't rest flush on my nose or the other way around. So just finding a pair that fits was a great feat, but these Kaenon's are amazing in every other way! The other reviewers have all raved about the optics and I couldn't agree more. They are unlike anything I have worn before. My eyes are very sensitive to sunlight so I needed a pair I could wear on those overcast or snowy but bright days and these are perfect. The don't make everything dark, they just cut the glare (guess that's what polarized glasses are supposed to do!). And on top of everything else, they are stylish too, an added bonus. Tried a couple other styles but they were all way to large. These are perfect, slightly oversized, wraparound. Never thought I would spend so much on sunglasses but these are worth every penny!
I've been asked before what the piece of gear is that I simply would NOT be able to live without, it's my Kaenon's. I own four pair. You've never seen your world this crisp and clear, and you've probably never looked as cool or been as comfortable as you will be in Kaenon's. The Georgia is a full frame, but not sight limiting like some wrap arounds. Yes, they are stylish, but the most functional pair of shades I've ever owned. I was introduced to Kaenon's in the sailing world, they are amazing at reducing glare on the water and for anyone who spends time in the white fluffy stuff, they are superb for you too! They fit well with my helmet, skiing or biking, and despite how hard I try to scratch them...failure. There isn't a scratch on my Georgia's yet and they are almost a year old. Go ahead, check out the world through a Kaenon lens - you won't be sorry you did!
These are amazing. Never thought I'd pay ~$200 on sunglasses, but I guess that's around the same price for a good pair of glasses (for those of us who are near-sighted). These things made my Oakleys look like child's play, for two reasons. (1) While my Oakleys (non-polarized) just made things look darker/gray-er, these Kaenons (gray lens) made things look darker yet somehow still bright. It's odd how the Kaenon gray lens still looked copper-ish compared to the Oakley gray lenses. The Kaenon therefore had better contrast. (2) As everybody else said, Kaenons have superior lens clarity. After I got used to my Kaenon, looking through my Oakley felt like looking out of a dirty windshield. Had to give up my Oakley shades, now just wear Kaenon Georgia. As for look, it's really personal preference. The Georgia is larger (lenses and temple width) than the Porter and it has a lot of attitude.

I am behind the wheel all day in my sales job. Usually I am all about fashion---- sporting my Tom Ford's. I was looking for some polarized sunglasses that would wrap around my face when I am behind the wheel so afternoon sun would not filter in like it does when I wear my Tom Fords. I thought it was impossible to find function and fashion in one pair of glasses. I no longer feel this way since ordering my Georgia's. They are very face flattering and fashionable, but also are very comfortable and keep the sun off your face! Only wish was that the green pair I ordered was a bit more green...looks more like dark gray when worn on the face.
Initial disclosure: I love Kaenons so I'm biased, but I think these are great sunglasses. Was debating between these and a pair of Persols; I went with the Kaenons for versatility because these are technical, performance frames you can wear all the time without looking goofy. The lenses are just amazing; if these are your first polarized lenses, you will probably never go back. The Georgia frame has a full-coverage wraparound shape that's a little too big for my face but I like them so much I'm keeping them.
Kaenon lenses are the BEST LENSES available!!!
If you have ever worn glass lenses you know what good optics should LOOK like, but if you are used to wearing polycarbonate (what Smith, Oakley, Maui and others use) then you have NO idea how good it really can be!!! These lenses blow the competition away and you will never want to wear anything else! And the Georgia style... AMAZING FIT. I love these glasses and could not live with out them!
I mean, these are serious sunglasses. I have been wearing Oakley for the past ten years and was happy. I am a watersports woman and need some good quality lenses. So imaginary my surprise putting these on, the polarized lenses are just SO much more superior to Oakley glasses. I will never wear anything else. I bought the green frame and they look stylish too. Thumbs up for those!
