The Kayland Men’s Crux Sphere Shoe brings together the technical sophistication and durability of a high-end approach shoe and casual, sharp styling that is right at home kicking around town. The micro-porous midsole strikes a delicate balance—it’s rigid enough to perform well in dicey terrain and forgiving enough to put a bounce in your step for long days on your feet. The Crux Sphere’s super grippy, non-marking Vibram Freeride sole performs consistently on everything from smooth rock to loose dirt to city streets.

| Kayland has a well established reputation in the mountaineering footwear world, so the high quality of these 'street' shoes came as no surprise. If your looking for a pair of everyday urban shoes that fit near perfect and then have the capacity to wander the trails, these will be your best friend. | |

| Good support and good looks. Comfortable enough for everyday use around town and for an easy hike. | |

| I have a pair of Kayland hiking boots in addition to the Crux. The boots are much more comfortable. The Crux disappointed me. The style is great, but the cushioning is minimal, and there is very little arch support. I hiked one trail in them and wished I'd used my boots instead. Why the difference between two products under the same name? My Kayland boots were made in Romania. The lesser quality Crux? Made in China. | |
