| Good Keens, wide toe box great! I have been wearing Keens for almost 5 years now. I've owned several styles. This shoe is a great everyday run around shoe with a little extra in case you hit some rocky terrain. It is not a hiker/athletic hiker like the Targhee. The Briggs looks are GREAT! Very stylish. I get compliments from men and women alike; I have the driftwood/pampas color combo. The Briggs were not a perfect fit for me because they are a little wide, although I have a wide foot (C-width). However, I can put my orthotics in this shoe which I can't with most shoes, including Keens. The toe box is wide (5 stars) but be aware the entire shoe runs wide, including the heel area. I wear thick socks to take up the slack. Arch support, without my orthotics, is good. Shock absorbency is fine too. Just remember it is not an active wear shoe so don't expect those kinds of features. I walked for 3 hours over cobblestone roads and uneven brick in Williamsburg, VA and the shoes performed excellently. I didn't feel any bumps and the shoes steadied me so my knees and ankles were always stabilized. I love this shoe! | |

| This is my second pair of Briggs from Keen, and I absolutely love them. My first pair was a birthday present, three years ago. I wore them every day of fall, winter and spring (summer is too short not to wear flip flops!) for those 3 years. My first pair is still very comfortable and holds up very well, even through some abuse like unexpected off trail hiking. After three years, the shoes just don't look "clean" anymore (they were a light sand shade) so I bought a new pair. Now I have a week pair and a weekend pair! I LOVE those shoes. The back (where the Achilles tendon hits) was a bit hard on one of the shoes, but wearing thicker socks takes care of that until it softens up a bit. They are very comfortable and I think they are the perfect city shoe: they look great, they fit well, they are very comfy, and they are very well made. I have and will repurchase again. | |

Wanted to thank you for the Keen Briggs shoes and the great customer service I got when I ordered them. I don't often order things on-line, so I was pleased it was so easy and really cheap to ship them. Here, in Canada, these shoes retail at stores and on-line stores for almost twice the price so I think I got an excellent deal with this site.

i picked up these shoes as a backup for when my current pair die (there is a small tear developing on the sole). i wanted this style vs. the newer one where there is this extra color/material on the first pair of lace holes. these shoes are super comfortable, require zero break-in time and are great for my feet which are wide in toe area, but narrow in heel. they are also lightweight and come with a really comfortable insole (usually i toss them out as soon as i get them and replace with superfeet etc). they don't have as much longevity as i'd like but the comfort is worth it.

| Keen does it again - Unlike other reviewers, I ordered my usual size (8.5) and felt my toes hit the front. A 9 is perfect for me, perhaps because I'm wearing medium-thick hiking socks. These shoes are chunky and adorable and look terrific under jeans and with shorts. Typical of Keen, these are hardy shoes that will doubtless last a long time. Love 'em. They're especially recommended for people with high arches/insteps, since the laces allow for adjustment all the way down. The lugs let go of dirt, but seem grippy on any surface, wet, or dry. And, as always, Zappos customer service and delivery speeds rock. | |

| Love these shoes! Bought these in black for myself for the winter. When my husband saw them, he asked for a pair and so I got a pair for him! He wears his every day to work (on his feet all day doing building maintenance), and loves them! He also tells me a lot of his co-workers compliment him on the shoes! This is great because he's picky, and only wears DMs or Nike. So comfortable and easy care, too. My second pair of Keens and won't be the last! These shoes run short, I had to order up a half size! | |

| Great Travel Shoe! I've been looking for a comfortable/versatile travel shoe that can handle some hiking and also Urban walking. This shoe fits the bill perfectly. Recently wore them on a trip involving a 5 mile hike and then wiped them clean with a cloth and felt perfectly respectable to go out to a nice dinner. Wide toe box but laces can synch up at ankle to accommodate a narrow heel. I have 3 pair now. I also wear them on my daily walk and they will accommodate an orthotic and both thin and thick socks Great shoes! | |

I love these keens. I have the sandals and thought I would try out the shoes. I am glad I did. They are just as comfortable with the anatomically correct footbed that offers wonderful support. I wear them to work and long walks around town. I get plenty of compliments on them. I do have a narrow foot so the wider portion at the top is roomy, but it isn't bothersome. The heel cups nicely around keeping my foot in place. They are true to size I have found. Thanks for another great shoe!

| Keen Runs Small... Again - Okay, Keen definitely has sizing issues. I took a leap of faith when I ordered these... I mean, 70% said they felt true to size! Maybe it was just this pair, I thought about ordering another pair just to see, but I didn't, I went with the Napa boot instead. These have much better arch support than the Napa's, though. I wear an 11 so I don't have the "order a half size up" option. I love Keen's, but I hate that they are so unpredictable. | |

| Great brand - I love keens. Ive been wearing them for about 3 or 4 years now and I still haven't been able to find another brand I like wearing as much. I love the wide room in front for my toes, and the arch is perfect for me. I live in a city, and walk nearly EVERYWHERE. Most other brands/shoes last 3-4 months, keens will last me at least a solid 6 months of daily use! | |

| These shoes are super comfortable, but I've had them less than a month and the soles are already wearing through. The soles are terrible. Don't purchase if you want long lasting shoes. | |
