| These booties are great. Too bad they are discontinued and Zappos Canada doesn't seem to have Keen brand. I have hard to fit feet = wide "pancake" feet with long little toes, plus I wear a soft orthotic that takes another width. Most wide women's shoes are too narrow in the toe and arch, but because they didn't put the plastic sole high up on the arch area they fit really well. YAY! I am on a perpetual shoe shop. If I can find a pair or two I will buy more of these! I tried on a dozen Keen shoes and 1/2 dozen sandals. These fit very well (the shoe and Mary Jane in this style are too shallow in the heel). Almost always I end up with my toes crammed into the end of a shoe; going a larger size they'll bend in the wrong place. These are terrific. Another plus was the extra height: a low boot but not quite a boot. Took insole out, my inserts fit and away I went. The ankle gives my broken ankle the little extra support it needs. No, they don't come on and off quickly, hence I tracked a bit of dirt inside, but that's okay. I find they are most comfortable if I lace them this way - lace as usual, leaving top two holes unlaced, then, instead of crossing over, take the lace and put it straight up into the next hole. Then cross the lace, running it through the straight up loop, tighten, cross over again and tie. It cinches up at the top of the foot without tightening the foot and then the ankle can be tightened as tight as needed. Good for solid walking, then you can ease off the top part for comfort if you are just knocking around but not all and all out trucking. Or can leave the top part more or less untied. I highly recommend these. Buy them now while you can. Who knows when Keen will make another shoe that fits like this. I am new to Keen and find, after trying another dozen pairs and styles that most of them fit different. Even same style in different fabric/leather can fit different because the insole will be made with a harder or softer material. Purchased a pair of "whisper" sandals a few days ago. There's still snow on the ground and I am wearing them indoors instead of slippers. They looked really narrow but seem to be a great fit. Make my feet look longer and narrower than they are but they are soft and comfy. They don't look like they have much arch but I'm finding them more supportive than I expected. They are soft and very flexible. I'd go barefoot if I could and the whispers are super comfy shoes/sandals. Guess where they got the name? ... Whisper. These Napas are on at a good price. Even with dollar exchange I paid close to another $40-50 for them in a store here. I thought I'd wear them into early winter, but my feet get cold easy and started getting chilly. I wore them one day when it was wet and it felt like they would probably slip once it got icy. Oh and another tip...I figured I'd cook in them when the weather got warm, but I bought a pair of bamboo rayon socks. Sure like them! They are thin socks. I expected my feet to feel all soggy and wet when the days started getting warm, but the rayon seems to pull the moisture away. My usual light cotton socks would have felt soggier at the end of the day. Once the days were in the 80s I opted for sandals unless I really needed the support. Yes, it gets hot in Canada. Cold winters, but where I live can get up over 100F in the summer. Cheers to happy feet and Keen [although if they didn't put the hard toes on everything I could probably fit more of them]. | |

Classy Boot | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Classy looking boot with the little flower design. I have a very narrow foot and wear an 8 1/2 in Keen sandals. These boots in size 8 1/2 were wide. To get a good fit required me to replace the liner with my custom made orthotic. This narrowed the boot to my foot and works just fine. Unfortunately, when I want to wear my New Balance I have to remove the orthotic. The boots require a lot of unlacing and lacing to accomplish orthotic changes. Warning, these are not "Pivettas", the wonderful, sturdy Italian hiking boot that outlasted all others. I would not want to hike the "Canyon" or the "Tetons" in these for fear of ankle twists. They are lightweight and comfortable with my orthotics for weekend hiking and around the city walking. They are flexible enough to wear comfortably while driving. I have not worn them in really cold or really wet weather as of yet. In 40 degree rain they are fine for keeping feet dry and warm. | |

| Good all-purpose walking boot - I have a lot of trouble finding comfortable shoes and boots, and was thrilled when this one felt comfortable right out of the box--except for the ankle, which needs to be broken in a bit, but still wasn't too bad. I wore them around the house for a few hours for a couple days to break them in, and then walked a few miles in them one day (with a heavy bag--it was an unplanned walk). I had some knee and back problems that day, and though my feet didn't hurt, I think the problems might have been due to so much walking in not-quite-worn-in boots. But I like them, so I'll keep trying (more gradually this time). Also, as other reviewers point out, they're a little hard to get on--but they're boots, so that's not unusual. They do fit orthotics. | |

| Another great Keen shoe! Since I bought a pair of Keen Mary Janes earlier this year I have been in love with Keen shoes. I was looking to replace a pair of Eastlands that got eaten by a dog. I was looking for something I could wear with jeans or slacks that did not have any insulation in them. Waterproof was preferred. These fit the bill quite well. As usual with Keens I find them to be a bit big so I usually order a half size down. The same squishy foam type foot bed you are used to seeing in keens. The small flower design is nice without really sticking out. A very nice color as well. I am very happy with this purchase and would gladly buy another pair! | |

| Always excellent products. Good selection, of course requires constant vigilance if customer is seeking a specific brand or product. Great value. I couldn't afford to have three pairs of KEENS without the Sierra prices. KEEN footbeds have been given universal approval by my podiatrist to fit and protect my fragile and arthritic metatarsals. The podiatrist issues a monthly letter to rate approved style numbers of other brands, but all styles of KEEN are approved. KEENS are pretty ugly and clunky looking for an old lady to wear, but they're a holdover from my footgear from a previous more active life. I don't mind appearing to be a bit eccentric if foot comfort and safety is the issue. | |

| Love this boot. It's a perfect fall/winter crossover boot and goes great with jeans. I have wide feet and ankles, so finding boots to fit is a little tricky, but these are perfect. The wide toe bed gives lots of room for warm socks (even when ordering a 1/2 size down from normal). Traction is good on the bottom so I don't feel like I'm slipping on any surfaces. And the best part about these boots is that they are not sock-munchers, which is a problem I always have with winter boots of any kind. My socks stay put and my feet stay warm & dry! Keen brand is the best. | |

Great Price & Classic Keen Fit
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I saw similar Keen boots at another store for over $100 -- maybe these boots are last season, but they looked pretty much the same, and for a 1/3 of the cost! I have 2 pair of Keen shoes already, so ordered my typical "Keen size" which is 1/2 size larger than other shoes. They fit perfectly. So if you know your Keen size, you don't need to worry. My only complaint is the laces, they seem kind of cheap, but those can be replaced. Overall, great boots for a fantastic price. | |

| I bought these and I wasn't sure if I would like them. I take them off for shower and sleep. They are great so comfortable. I have bad feet I put an insert in them it is fine. My toes were really hurting in my other shoes this is great no pain. I'm wearing them in the summer with shorts or skirts. I'm sure they would be great for winter. When I'm watering the plants they have gotten wet and my feet are dry. like them | |

Great shoe, unbeatable value!

| These are breaking in nicely. Entry/exit is easy if you loosen the laces correctly (as with most boots), they are very warm as well, and have enough cushiness without being bulky. They are lightweight for a boot, and have pretty good traction, although I have yet to try them out in slippery terrain. Excellent value for the money-- I have liked every Keen shoe I've had so far and these are no exception. They are functional but still cute enough not to feel clunky. | |

| I bought this shoe in the Dark Natural Synthetic color. It is even better in person! It looks way more expensive than it is. The snakeskin-looking material is very authentic looking. The colors are great, very neutral and goes with everything. And the shape of the Barbe is amazing, it is a sexy shoe but also comfortable. It really is the perfect pump. It looks good with jeans and work clothes. I am definitely going to purchase more of the Barbe in different colors! | |

Review Title | |

After reading the reviews and buying other Keen shoes, I was excited to buy these boots. After wearing them twice for several hours I decided to return them. They were awful: too tight in the ankle shaft, they pushed my foot forward in a strange way, my soles were aching after standing in them for 5 hours even with thicker socks. Disappointing because Keen is usually great.

| I really like the way these boots look, but I simply could not get my ankles into them without unlacing them almost all the way. I returned them because I didn't want to go to this much trouble just to get them on. | |

| I usualy love my Keens, but not these. They are smaller sized, hard to get into, little to no support, I am not pleased with this style. | |

cute boots and good for the price!

| Cute lightweight boot with subtle embossed floral design, practical for many weather conditions. Tongue is not gusseted, and no insulation so not good for deeper snow. These are fashion boots, not serious outdoor boots for hiking and such. There is not much foot support. Although the quality is adequate for the price, it seems below the usual Keen standards; i.e. no padding around the ankle, and the leather seems thin in areas that are usually reinforced, like where the lacing eyelets are. Also the insole is thin and flimsy with no arch support. (I fixed this with my own insoles however:-) I would not dare to do any serious hiking in these. But I'll still be happy even if they only last 6 months at this price! Great around town casual boots with some water protection. | |

Solid casual bootie | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| While these boots are very stylish and versatile they don't feel as immediately comfortable when you slip them on as other Keen shoes. The ankle area is a bit restrictive and rubs around the area. I ended up unlacing the boots by one to give a little more movement. Since I've done that the boots are more comfortable and I've worn them more often. I think they just need a solid couple of wears to them to break them in to the point where they're a similar feel to most other Keens. For the price I paid, they're worth a little bit of a break in period. | |

| I had to retun these, they ran much narrower than a typical Keen, which was so disappointing because I love Keen footwear. However, my friends with very narrow feet can't wear the usual Keen shoe, so this would be good for them. | |

| I love Keens, and these are as comfortable as any. However I bought them for rainy autumn in the Appalachians, and they are NOT completely waterproof. The area around the lacing lets water in, leading to wet feet at work. Yuck | |

| NOT WATERPROOF - This boot is not made for snowy winters. It is good looking and comfortable on the foot but digs at the the ankle. Not very warm either. Sorry I invested in this boot. | |
