Keen Newport H2 Sandal Reviews:

I bought these last summer when my son was 1 and again this summer now that he is 2. They are the perfect shoe for an active little boy. They protect his toes and stay on his feet, but still let him get wet and muddy and sandy. You can hose them down when he's done and they look new all summer! Very sturdy and well made. They are a bit tight on his chubby foot, but the bungy cords allow them to stretch out. The only downside is these are a bit stinky by the end of the summer...but what shoe isnt?

Our 2 year old loves to take long walks but a few different pairs of inexpensive shoes were causing her discomfort each time. Finally we decided to spring for these - hey, these are pricey for a TODDLER! - and it was worth it. THey are perfect for water play, the playground (with the bump toe protection) and they even look alright for church. Much better option to the horrible but also versatile croc type shoes. Just an added plus that she loves being her dad's mini-me with their matching shoes.
Also, all Keens are washable, so they shouldn't get too stinky!

We've been buying the Newport H2 Sandal every summer for my kids. We LOVE them. My 3.5 yr old can put it on by herself and my 2 yr old needs just a little assistance. They are comfortable, easy to clean, and stylish. My 3.5 yr old wants to wear her Keen over any other shoes she has.
The only negative thing is that it does get an odor (stinky shoe smell) after month...but I guess it just normal for any shoes with sweat and no socks combination!

I'm a big KEEN fan. In fact, my entire family has sported several pairs each. I like the styling of the Newport H2 and the re-inforced sole has survived regular skidding. My only real complaint about the sandal is that the anti-odor sole has not lived up to it's name. My daughter's feet smell like a soiled damp mop whenever she wears them. I love my daughter's feet no less, but the sandals could use an improved material.

These shoes are the best summer shoes for my soon-to-be 2 yr old! The main thing is she doesn't make a fuss about putting them on, and she is picky about shoes, so they must feel comfortable. They seem very durable and go with practically anything. I also like the fact that they can get wet. We went up a size since they don't come in half sizes and they fit great with room to grow.

This is a great toddler shoe. Because my daughter has some typical fat little feet, the extra room in the toebox is nice. Keens also protect well against toe drag, dry out fast an this is the first show that my 20 month old can put on herself (which she loves doing). I'm a big fan of Keen kids shoes. They run a touch small, so I'd say size up if in doubt.

These pretty much rock. A bit tight and my little guy has small feet but they have been in and out of the water, mud, walks, zoo's and have the durability, cushioning and everything I love about my Keen's. I'm actually buying another pair in a larger size because he is outgrowing his current ones!

these water sandals are amazing. we love the true fit and they are light and very durable, just like adult keens. i would definitely buy another pair, and we soon will have too. I just wish the price was more affordable, but the quality and engineering is there and the wanna be's don't compare...

Pappa at Backcountry.com on 05/27/2010

We have been buying keens for our boys for 3 years now and have never had issues with blisters or fit. Does make their feet stinky but that's the case with all sandals and maybe just my boys feet :)

These shoes are easy to put on the material seems to be comfortable for my toddler. She is a size 4.5 I ordered a size 5 this left her with a little room for growth.

Nice sandal, but size chart is way off. I was going to reorder, but price has gone up $5.00 in 2 weeks, plus i had to pay $6.99 to return the first pair. I think return shipping should be waived if reordering.
