Multiple webbing straps, an innovative bungee lacing system, and a supportive footbed keep the foot solidly in place, while a bumper protects the toes - the Keen Newport H2 is almost as much a hiking shoe as it is a sandal.

I like them alot | |

| I was told about the Keen Sandals by a friend who really liked them. I read the reviews and others seemed to like them too. I was not about to pay $100 for a pair of sandals. They are a little to proud of these shoes. I did find them on sale at EMS for[$] which I was willing to pay. The sandals are very comfortable as promised by my friend. I have only had them for about a month, so I cannot speak to the durability yet.I was also a little hesitant to by shoes online without first trying them on. I ordered my exact shoe size and the fit was perfect.Overall I like them alot so far. They are very comfortable and easy to slip on on off. I was looking for a closed toe sandal for camping, these seem to fill the bill perfectly. One note on wet sandals. I did wear them into the house with a little water on the bottom and almost fell on my backside when I hit the tile floor. Not something I am used to as a hiking\tennis shoe wearer. Also I did wear these on a recent campout, afterwhich when I brought them home I hosed them down. It did take quite awhile for them to dry, the canvas webbing anyway. So my guess is if they got wet in the field, you may have some prunned strap marks on your feet as it seems to take awhile for them to dry.The bottom of my feet also get a little warm wearing them, but not to the point of sweating.I would recommend these shoes without hesitation and I only wish I could wear them to work everyday. Also take the time to find them on sale and save yourself some $$$. | |

| I was looking for something that I can Jet ski with, kayak in, hike light trails (you need hiking boots for anything more), use in stores and mountain bike with and these sandals fit all of those categories as I have tested them all out in the past two weeks. They are very comfortable as well. | |

| I love the shoe, but the front web caught my little toenail on every step - impossible! With tears in my eyes, I passed them along to one of my sons. | |

Some slight changes from the original | |

| These H2's do not quite feel right. I have 3 other pairs bought 2 and 3 years ago. I fear that some minor changes in manufacture today are not good for this shoe. I noticed the grooved sole has now been changed to non groove which was very helpful for boating. By the way this shoe was originally designed to be just that, a terrific boating shoe. Oh well, yes I noticed the change and yes I am not happy. Fortunately my original H2's are very much intact. | |

| Bought these for an eleven day canoe trip in Maine. Had a blister on my one toe by the second day of wearing them, also the left and the right don't feel like they fit the same. | |
