I got these after rejecting the Merrill Moab Ventilator. The Merrill did not fit the arch and heel of my foot. The Keen fits my foot just about perfect--wide and roomy in toe and the contour is right for my high arch and relatively long heel. I've worn Keen sandals for 6-7 years and this shoe is similar--toe cap, lacing, foot bed. Order 1/2 size larger than your average size. Thanks Zappos for the fast service and free shipping on returns.
I bought these boots for winter wear, and they are great. Nice and lightweight, cradle the foot well, with good arch and foot support. I don't expect them to be warm when standing outside, but for walking the dog, and general active wear they have been great so far. My size 14M are a perfect fit. I'm planning to order another pair, so I can alternate them for longer life.
Better stick to kicking around town
This is a very nice shoe but I don't think it is sturdy enough for any rugged trail work. Very comfortable but not too much support for trail conditions. The fit was perfect as advertised and I think this will be an axcellent around town shoe. For trails I would prefer something stiffer.
My second pair of Siskiyou...I'm hooked!
I'm a senior citizen who still loves the outdoors. My hiking trails are not as strenuous as they once were, and these are the perfect boot for me. THey are very comfortable to just wear around the house as well.
As always, Zappos made it easy to try on a few different shoes. Glad I did. These Keen's were not my favorite from the web shopping but certainly were when I tried them on. Great fit, materials, quality. Keen's rock!
I have really enjoyed my Keen Sandals and wanted to try these shoes. Not to be disappointed. I would not hesitate to order another pair. And as always Zappos is the best.
comfortable right out of the box
hiked 31 miles in these shoes in the desert area of Moab, performed well on both sandy soil and red rocks, not recommended for cold weather but can't have everything....
Exactly what I was looking for
Needed a dual purpose shoe for work and day hiking. Couldn't afford shoes for both. Very pleased with overall performance and comfort. The price was excellent
Good Fit
True to size. My first pair of Keen. They are comfortable and seem to hold up on the trail. I will buy another pair someday.
nice feel
shoe shape is comfy, but could use a little thicker insole pad or denser foam. Otherwise really well made
