Another Good Shoe

I have discontinued wearing my other shoes. They will rest quietly in the closet until the heavy weather due to come next October in Western Wyoming cycles through once more. Only the deep snow will force me to surrender these shoes to ice packs. They are that good. There is plenty of traction. They are very cozy, and they lace up quick. They are stylish, and rugged. I wear them with everything. I am single, however, so maybe that doesn't say much. I take that back. They are that good!

I got these after rejecting the Merrill Moab Ventilator. The Merrill did not fit the arch and heel of my foot. The Keen fits my foot just about perfect--wide and roomy in toe and the contour is right for my high arch and relatively long heel. I've worn Keen sandals for 6-7 years and this shoe is similar--toe cap, lacing, foot bed. Order 1/2 size larger than your average size. Thanks Zappos for the fast service and free shipping on returns.

I bought these boots for winter wear, and they are great. Nice and lightweight, cradle the foot well, with good arch and foot support. I don't expect them to be warm when standing outside, but for walking the dog, and general active wear they have been great so far. My size 14M are a perfect fit. I'm planning to order another pair, so I can alternate them for longer life.

Overall good

Overall comfortable. Like all Keen shoes order 1/2 size larger. Laces are difficult to get completely tight, I liked the ones I had a few years back that had metal hooks for the top two laces which held tighter. The heel tighten part of the lace design is somewhat of a gimmick, since there is no way to get the laces tight enough.

Fit well, need break in period

I purchased these shoes because I've always heard good things about Keen shoes. They fit comfortably when I tried them on and are doing well. I would advise, however, that you give them a "break in period" before planning a long trek. They are a little inflexible at first...

As always, Zappos made it easy to try on a few different shoes. Glad I did. These Keen's were not my favorite from the web shopping but certainly were when I tried them on. Great fit, materials, quality. Keen's rock!

I have really enjoyed my Keen Sandals and wanted to try these shoes. Not to be disappointed. I would not hesitate to order another pair. And as always Zappos is the best.

Solid shoes

Solid shoes. Comfortable. Only issue was tongue of left shoe slides to left even when shoe tightened. Overall satisfied with the shoes.

First real hike I took these into the Rockies. Performed well and kept my feet dry.
