Cold is a foreign term to Keen's Summit County winter boots; they come ready for frigid temps with lightweight Keen Warm insulation (packed extra heavy in the toes, where cold hits first), a thermal heat shield footbed that deflects cold, and a Dual Climate rubber outsole that hardens in cold weather to provide better grip.
Crafted especially for snowy weather, the Keen(r) Summit County men's winter boot features a rugged rubber outsole that reacts to the cold by hardening for a tough grip on packed snow. The KEEN.DRY(tm) waterproof membrane keeps your foot warm and dry, and Shellback(tm) heel support provides exceptional cushioning on impact.

Another great shoe by Keen

| I've owned several pairs of Keen Targhees - which have been great for 3 season hiking. I purchased these for winter hiking. As its summer now, I haven't had a chance to use them in the conditions I purchased them for. Size is a bit snugger than the Targhees, but I wouldn't have ordered a size up. Walking around the house, they are very comfortable. I plan on taking them for a hike when it cools off a bit...hoping they perform as well as te Targhees. | |

Runs small. | |

| This item runs small for Keene. I plan to return them and get the next size up, if they are available. They look and feel awesome! I have numerous pairs of Keene's, and I am sure these will be everything they are listed as. Even though they were small, I could still tell that they were comfortable, warm, and light weight. | |

I can fit my orthotic in these

| I haven't worn them outside, but they seem warm. These are the first winter boots that I can get my orthotics into...they seem a bit short (the insole may curve upward in the toe area). Order larger than your usual Keen size | |
