Sized properly, the Keen Venice H2 is the only sandal you will need for warm weather outdoor activities. It's made with Keen's TH3 Outsole, a non-marking siped rubber sole developed for varied terrain surfaces. The TH3 is a hybrid sole in Keen's trailhead sandal technology, giving you the convenience of traction in situations involving both water and trail. One of the best features is a V-strap forefoot capture design that helps hold your foot in place throughout each step, minimizing the chances that your feet will slide and become irritated against a wet footbed. The fast-drying polyester webbing features an AEGIS Microbe Shield treated SBR lining that won't irate skin when wet. If you raft, sail, camp or fish around water during the hottest months of the year, Keen's Venice H2 is your outdoor sandal of the summer.

Keen Venice - The fast-drying, bacteria-free KEEN Women's Venice H2 Sandals are ideal for extended trips on the river or easy hiking where your feet are sure to get soaked. Not only do these closed-toe sandals offer protection that regular sandals can't match, but they also provide easy access and a quick, secure fit with a drawcord lace design. You'll appreciate the extra protection of the Venice H2 sandals when you're jamming your foot under a thwart on a rafting trip, or when the trail turned out to be a little more rugged than you expected. Whatever the case, the polyester uppers on these KEEN sandals are sure to be bone dry by the time you're back in the car.
The Venice H2 Sandal by KEEN is a super beefy, versatile sandal that can go from the water to the trail with no problem. With an open strapping system and streamlined outsole, the Venice H2 offers you superb comfort and incredible durability. Lightweight on your feet while still offering exceptional traction on all sorts of different terrain. With their patented toe protection you can stump your toe on the rocks and roots and come out unscathed.
For this summer and spring, the Venice H2 will be your best pair of sandals.

These are my favorite shoes I have ever bought. I bought them 2 summers ago for shoes to wear everyday at the children's day camp I worked at. (I originally saw them on one of my 6 year old girls are got jealous!) Now that I'm getting out a little more my love for them has grown. I wore them on a 15 mile backpacking trip (I know, I know, you should wear boots) and I had no complaints and no blisters. The awesome toecap kept me from stubbing my toe on rocks and allowed me to climb stuff without scraping my toes, something that I worried about with Chaco's.

| I'm a girl who loves to wear 4-inch platforms. I hate flat shoes. When these shoes were first recommended to me, I scoffed at how low they were. And, to be honest, they aren't the prettiest shoes you'll ever own. But, no joke... once you put them on, you will never want to take them off. I wore them all last summer and well into the fall. If I thought I could get away with wearing them with socks for the winter, I would (and I hate people who wear socks with sandals) These were great for our vacation last year, which was nothing but walking, walking, walking. Not one blister! They keep your feet cool and dry with no chafing. The rubber front is great for clumsy people like me who trip a lot... no stubbed toes! I wear them when I take the dog to the river. I can go right in with her. Walking on the slippery rocks is a breeze because of the traction. When you come out, just shake off the excess water, and they dry pretty quickly. They might seem pricey, but I would gladly pay twice as much as I did for these seriously awesome shoes. The looks have grown on me, too. I get compliments on them everywhere I go. And I tell everyone I can how amazing these shoes are. My husband mocks me that I sound like I work for them or should be their spokesperson. Hey, powers-that-be at Keen, give me more shoes and I'll be your spokesperson!!! The only negative thing I have found about them is the weird foot tan I had all summer from wearing them so much. But, it's not like I ever had on another pair of shoes for anyone to notice!! Buy these shoes, you won't regret it! | |

So far i've tried these sandals on a few short hikes, an overnight backpack trip through a gulch that requires walking in an average of 5 cm of water, and on a couple river trips.

Sensitive feet Loves Keen Venice

| RE: KEEN Footwear Venice Sandal (Women's) - Color (Size): Bossa Nova/Black Olive (10.5)Let me start by saying - I LOVE going barefoot; my toenails and feet are sensitive to everything. I bought a cheap pair of Teva-like sandals a couple of years ago. Fortunately, they fit very nicely and I loved those sandals to death till they wore out. I have looked for something similar for a long time to no avail. BUT THEN I saw Keens!! I accidentally came across a website where Keens were featured. I took a look, theyâre kind of expensive and almost bought a pair right then. But something told me to wait and read more reviews, Iâm glad I did.The best thing about reading reviews is that someone has tried them out and made comments, good or bad. 98% of the reviews said Keens are comfortable, practical and very, very stylish. So I was sold, however one review pointed me to Rock Creek website. Low and behold, my KEEN Venice Sandal was on SALE in size 10.5 (I actually wear 10, but thatâs OK!!!) I couldnât believe the price offered [...]YES, YES, YES; these sandals are what everyone says they are. The color is the pretty Bossa Nova/Black Olive, looks like the picture and not at all bulky as the Keen Newport according to reviewers. The sole is cushy like marshmallows, the fabric is not scratchy but soft and the width is roomy at the toes yet still guides the foot. I will be using this shoe to workout on the elliptical machine and for looong walks. I'll be back to comment after Iâve worn them a bit! | |

I just love the look and feel of this sandal! I have the Newport H2 which I love and was afraid that this sandal would be too much the same. Not true! They are different enough and the colors are fabulous. They do run 1/2 size small so make sure you order 1/2 larger than normal size. Feet sweat a little less in these sandals because of the extra ventilation. Love the toe covers for extra protection and when I don't feel like showing my pretty toes. I have a flat foot and have a hard time finding sandals that provide good arch support but not too much that it is painful. These are the perfect answer and funky too! I also have a narrow heel and shoes often slip in the back and cause blisters. Not the case with these KEENS. They have a perfect back strap with just enough stretch that your foot doesn't slide around. I love that I can wear them in the rain and hose off after a treck through the mud. Last, I have a small ankle and thought these shoes might look clunky or too wide. I was impressed immediately when I put them on. Much more flattering than a sneaker! I have found KEEN and now there is no going back! They are different and make you feel a little more cool that you may already be!

I've been wearing my Venice H2s nearly daily for the past six weeks. Within days, they quickly became my favorite pair for their sheer comfort: my feet are well-protected over any terrain, I can splash through puddles without a worry, and I can still enjoy the open, airy feeling of sandals.

| My feet are so mad at me! For a year I resisted these shoes because I thought the toe protector looked too clunky (but I'm usually in Birkenstocks, so what do I know?). What a mistake. I finally bought a pair in the Crushed Grape, and Wow! The comfort is unbeatable, and now I think they're good-looking, as well. I've since bought two more pairs, both Venice H2; the Venice's strap design is much more comfortable on my toes than the Newport's is. These shoes are great for walking around town (the sole is so cushy; it feels springy, but with plenty of support!), taking light hikes, walking down to the dock, walking in the rain...you name it. I love that my feet feel secure no matter what I'm doing, and when I get home, the shoes slip off easily and can go into the washer/dryer if they've gotten too muddy. The shoes have good arch support and fit immediately (no break-in period necessary). I took the advice of other reviewers and went a half size up. For me that was a mistake. I ended up needing a half size smaller than my usual size. I'm a 7.5, and my Keens are a 7 (I wear them without socks). Great job, Keens. Keep on introducing new colors! | |

I love these shoes so much that over the last couple of years my collection has grown to three different colors. I wear them everywhere I can get away with it. They're so comfortable that I can stand and walk in them all day long at work and I'm fine. Since I wear them every single day, they can get pretty dirty, but all you've gotta do is throw them in the washing machine with the rest of your laundry and they come out looking like new. (The manufacturer actually recommends this!) They last forever, too, so even though they're a little bit pricier than average, they're a great investment. I recommend buying some deodorizing foot spray and making sure your feet are clean and dry before putting on your Keens, because they do get a little sweaty and stinky otherwise, but what shoes don't do this when you wear them without socks? I know this isn't the most fashionable thing to do, but I even wear them with black socks in the winter with my jeans, and they end up looking like regular sneakers. (This doesn't work with white socks; that's just going too far with the socks-and-sandals thing. :) ) I adore my Keens!

| LOVE these shoes. I bought them in the Carnelian/Apricot Fade and they are gorgeous. They make my feet look really small too. One thing, though, for those ladies whose foot may measure one size, but ALWAYS have to order at least a half size larger to accommodate the width of their foot, do not go another half size larger! My foot measures a 7.5, and I can wear a 7.5 in a wide with shoe, but I almost ALWAYS wear an 8 or an 8.5 shoe. I had ordered another style KEENS in an 8.5 due to everyone indicating that a half size larger needed to be ordered, but both the Venice H2 in an 8 and they're the most perfect fitting shoe I've ever owned. Also, props to Zappos.com for the super fast service! I ordered these at 2 pm EDT yesterday and received them by 10 am this morning, in fact, the UPS guy was rather ornery about having to deliver shoes by 10 am. LOL. Thanks, Zappos! | |

| I bought these shoes for a trip to the beach as an alternative to soft watershoes, and they were a terrible idea. All the sand and pebbles go right inside and the shoes are snug-fitting enough that you have to take them off to remove anything that gets under your foot. However, I started wearing them more frequently this summer after I broke my toe, and they are one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had for walking around all day. The only two downsides are that 1) the sandal liner came loose from the toe cover after only 2 months (only five bucks to have a shoe repair shop glue it back together, though), and 2) I still get little bits of rock under my foot all the time. Both are such minor problems that don't take away from my satisfaction with the shoes. Highly recommended! | |

| These shoes were terrible! The sole on one shoe was so warped it wouldn't sit flat on the floor. I thought it would even out when I put them on. Boy was I wrong! After about 15 min. of wear it pinched a nerve in my foot and my big toe went numb. I have friends that swear by these shoes. All I can say is they must not have very good quality control. | |

Numb Toe | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
I have owned numerous pairs of keens, and have always loved them, but for some reason these have made my big toe numb. These are my second pair of Venice H2s, same size. I actually remember when I got my first pair two years ago they seemed too small at first, then fit, then seemed too big. I know it doesn't seem possible that the foot bed stretched, but I swear that it did (significantly)over the two years that I wore them. I considered ordering a different size, but in the end ordered the same size, and after wearing my new ones for three days I have noticed that my big toe on my left foot is numb. (I haven't worn my keens for 4 days now, and it continues to be numb.) This is very mysterious to me, and I think it must just be a problem with sizing, although I have never had a problem like this before with any shoe. Aside from that I like them. Good support, and the black with contrast stitching is really cute.

| I wanted a pair of Keens to augment the Merrell Chameleons I've been trying to break in for the past year. The Merrells have a better footbed more support, a tighter fit, and with the velcro strap across the heel, an easier in-and-out. Unfortunately, even after a year, the Merrells still tear up my feet, hence my MooseJaw purchase of the Keens. I bought the mango a bit more orange than various photos online. The Keens are a cooler temp-wise shoe, a necessity in Florida's heat, but leave many access points for fire ants, which can be a problem. Arch support is not what it could be, and I'm disappointed this shoe may not be my overall solution for the summers, and those long days at | |

| They were right. These are about a half size smaller than my other size 11 Keens. The biggest problem with that is they don't make an 11-1/2! And the men's version doesn't come in any colors I like, so I decided to keep them and see if I can make them work. They are okay most of the time, but if I've been on my feet a lot, later in the day they are a little snug in the toes. Bummer! Why can't Keen make all the size 11s the same? | |
