Everywhere I go - people want to know -

| Every time I bring one of these to a football stadium fans seated next to me want to know where I purchased my stadium seat. Also, I attend a lot on indoor basketball games, (we have 5 sons) and I bring them in to the bleachers to sit on because I have a bad back, and the stadium seat helps give me some support for all those hours sitting on the bleachers inside too! Plus, when you use them outside, I even bring it when there are stadium seats because it helps if the seats are wet already from rain, and they also are warmer to sit on than cold hard plastic seats in some of the nicer stadiums! | |

This chair is a campers delight!

| I go camping a lot and have to sit on the hard floor without being able to sit back and be comfortable! Now I feel like I'm sitting on a couch while sitting on the floor! I love this simple chair because it's easy storage, easy transportation, and very comfortable. Um, their isn't really anything that isn't so great about it that I have noticed. So, it is a really great product to have if you love camping! | |

| Added support versus smaller model; I use it when sailing my Hobie 16, it's easy to flip sides when tacking, great for water resistant back support. Makes long days on the boat nice & comfortable...of course it also comes in handy as a camp chair when we stop on the islands..& unfolded makes for a nice pad to nap on :) | |

I live in the Dominican Republic and i have had this camping chair for over a year. I have had no problems with it. I have gone to Haiti, the beach, and on mountain camp outs with it and put it through quite a bit. It's very comfortable and durable. I would recommend this for all people.

Good quality construction and attractive design.

| This chair is easily adjustable to suit a variety of sitting positions including cross legged and rocking chair. I find it generally comfortable, however, by placing a pad at the lower back area and under the seat it achieves near greatness. The ground level position is particularly nice for camp fire seating. | |

| This was a great gift. Light and comfortable on the ground, at a picnic table or in the bleachers. Seems sturdy enough for this 60ish grandma and keeps my back from aching. A shoulder strap would make it perfect. | |

| "I love the color! Also, the outer mesh pocket and the way its constructed make it very handy for taking on outings to the park since it can be used to carry small things, meaning a separate bag isnt needed. I find it to be a relatively comfortable chair." | |

I love the concept of these chairs and I've had versions before that used my thermarest as the back and leg support but this one was a big disappointment. Why? If you look at the picture of the chair, you can see two long thin, padded seams running along the side of the chair, yes? These have plastic 'spines" in them for support. Well, not far into my first camping excursion with these chairs, the front edge of long, thin pocket of that seam ripped and the plastic spine poked right thru. That area needs to be reinforced seriously to resist the pressure that the spine exerts on the stitching. I could see the spine vigorously poking that area whenever someone sat in the chair. Once the spine breaks through, the chair loses it's structural integrity and is far less comfortable Plus the spine tarted scratching my leg every time I sat down. Lest anyone think I might have exceed the weight limit for these chairs (is there one? ) I'm about 5'7" and 155 lbs. Hardly atypical for an expected user of these things. I'm really surprised that a flaw like this showed up in a Kelty design. I've been impressed with previous products of theirs in the past and expected the same from these chairs. At least this site rocks with respect to returns. I've sent these things back and will keep looking for a lightweight, comfortable camp chair.

I got this chair because it was almost half the price of a crazy creek. I have a lot of kelty gear, so i figured it be good. I was wrong, the first time i took it on a backpacking trip it broke. I leaned back in it and the straps just broke. I am 6'5 240 so that may have been the problem.

Not the best, but lightweight

This Kelty chair does the job for me cuz I'm a wee 108 lbs. The construction has no detectable flaws, and I really appreciate the mesh pocket on the back as additional exterior storage during backpacking. However, the actual materials are flimsy and I wouldn't trust it for anyone over 120lbs. For the price and weight, I'm keeping it for backpacking and stadiums.

| Bought the Kelty camp chair for use at music festival where aluminum chairs are not allowed. Worked great for that purpose, however the stabilizer busted through the seams in 1 hour. I'm planning on exchanging, hopefully the next one won't have same problem. | |
