When you go on your family fishing trip to Mirror Lake this summer, don't forget the important, the necessary, the Essential Chair by Kelty. A steel frame means it holds strong when your son throws it against the rocks, or your daughter backs into it with the Suburban. Adjustable arms make it comfy for your littlest one to play bus driver in, and an adjustable beverage holder nicely grasps your wife's Lexan water bottle or your mother-in-law's diet cola. Side mesh pockets and a back pocket can house all sorts of captured creeping critters and 600D polyester mini-ripstop holds it together when dragged upside down across camp to be integrated into the stick fort.

This comfortable chair is easy to relax in and comes equipped with a unique adjustable beverage holder, a mesh pocket, reflective ascents, and a transport sack. Built with a 16-millimeter steel frame for durability.

Great Chair! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I bought up 2 for our next beach or concert trip. They are very well constructed, and light compared with other folding chairs of a similar style that we have owned for beach, concert & camping use. I found the Kelty chairs comfortable, and compact. Once more I discovered that I can store the carrying bag in a web pocket located on the chair back. The only minor complaint is that the seat back isn't high enough to allow one to sleep easily in the chair, as with 2 of our other chairs. | |

Good, but Mesh chair is better

This chair has the exact same dimensions and functionality as the Kelty Mesh Chair, but without the mesh. Mesh is stronger (compare the weight limits), lighter, breathable for outdoor sitting (which is kinda the point) and only $10 more than this chair. I highly recommend the mesh chair (obviously), but if you hate mesh for some reason, this chair is very good, too.

Nice basic chair | |

| Nice carry sack with pockets of its own and daisy chain. A good simple basic chair (with it's own bottle opener!). I got these chairs for the backyard, car trips and campgrounds. This is a bit heavy and bulky for backpacking trips. My only knock so far is that it forces you to have good posture...no reclining in this chair! | |

2 Kelty chairs, anniversary gift to MN
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Handy anniversary gift to son and daughter-in-law in MN from RI. They had no outdoor chairs to take with us when we visited over the 4th. Now they do! They participate in many outdoor recreational events. Easy to carry and small to store in apartment. Easy to purchase and ship, and they were in stock even. | |

great chair | |

| This chair is very sturdy but not too heavy to carry in its own sack. Love the adjustable beverage holder. Adjustable arms are a huge plus. | |

| Great chair! Sets up in an instant, is comfortable, holds two drinks, and has built in bottle opener and mesh pockets. I can't ask for more! | |
