The Villa 6 is the newest addition to the Basecamp fleet, and it features a radical reconfiguration of the traditional dome tent.
The Villa 6 by Kelty is a well constructed tent with more than enough room for six people. Two doors and two vestibules keep all of your gear dry and keeps you from tripping over each other. Sidewall and fly vents keep this tent well ventilated, and cuts down on condensation. Various organizer components, such as the internal storage pockets, an organizer wall and gear shelf, keep everyone's small items in their place.
The Kelty Villa Tent's incredibly spacious design, high ceiling, large vestibule, and double doors ensure plenty of room for a fully family at the lake or a handful of climbers in base camp. Four DAC poles provide excellent support thanks to Kelty's dome-style design, so you don't have to worry about structural stability during a storm. Wondering about space? Well, a 5ft 8in tall person can stand up straight inside the Villa Tent, the 89sq foot floor has enough room to sleep six people comfortably, and several internal mesh pockets keep everything organized. This tent even has a massive 20sq foot vestibule to shelter everyone's packs and boots while you play cards through a rainstorm.
The Villa 6-person tent from Kelty(r) features color-coded DAC DA17 aluminum poles and includes stacking shelves built into the vestibule. Sidewall vents and plenty of mesh around the body provide maximum airflow during the hottest evenings.
