Positive Reviews:

Easy to use

Rating:****
I do a lot of day hiking in the US and Canadian Rockies. I've owned a pair of Lekis for 7 years. They've been great. However, I like these Komperdells better. From other reviews, I was afraid they would be difficult to figure out. They aren't. They are easy to adjust and don't seem to collapse as easily as the Lekis. Good product. Great price. I'm pleased.

THEY DO WHAT THEY SHOULD!

Rating:****
I dug out my trekking poles in the wake of an ankle surgery because the idea of using a cane was distasteful, while using a trekking pole...while serving the same function...made me feel adventuresome and on my way back to normal function. But I needed the tips to be able to use then on tile floors, etc. They've served well so far!

Keeper for Komperdell Poles

Rating:*****
For the Komperdell poles and cane, the Komperell tips are an essential item if you will be using them on a hard surface. I ordered two pair to have a spare back-up when I wear out the first set. I use the Komperdell cork handle walking canes periodically.

Buy a lot for use on smooth surfaces

Rating:****
These pole tips are essential for using Komperdell Walking Poles on hard, smooth surfaces (excluding ice) such as mall floors or concrete sidewalks. Frequent use wears off the gripping ridges so buy a lot if you use the poles for exercise walking indoors.

Decent and necessary

Rating:****
I would like to see tips that are a bit more "grabby" or softer on downhills with poles out in front the tips slip. I mostly use poles when walking for exercise and will try crutch tips or I'll make my own tips.

Great Tips!

Rating:****
This tips are great! I ordered them to go with my new Komperdell trekking poles, they served as a backup set because the poles i ordered came with a pair included. But keeping them in my pack has proved a great idea!

Just what I ordered

Rating:*****
These were [...] exactly like the tips I needed to replace. The old tip had finally worn out after 3 years of moderate use. I use the walking pole when my arthritis is acting up, I like it better than a cane.

Does what its supposed to!

Rating:*****
The tip that came with the walking stick came off during a hike. I prefer a rubber tip to a metal point, even on rocky trails. So far, it's held up nicely and hasn't popped off in the muck or the rocks,

WorksVery Well!

Rating:*****
I bought these tips for my Komperdell walking stick. The walking stick looks so much "cooler" than using a cane for my arthritic knee & the rubber tip makes the stick suitable for use on sidewalks & in shopping malls.

Must have for trekking poles

Rating:*****
If you own trekking poles, you really should have rubber tips. I mainly use them to protect my gear from rips and tears when traveling. They are nice to use if walking on and off hard surfaces to avoid slipping.

Negative Reviews:

average

Rating:**
Disappointed in material quality. Weas fast and slipperly (maybe the shape). I usually use Leki brand poles and they have really good rubber tips. So I tried to put Leki tip, but not compatible for Komperdell's. But these tips are the "must" if you use Komperdell's around town or at home.

they should be on the "cane" ordered.

Rating:**
must really be forced over tip. thought to be tight but was lost anyway. they should already be on a cane. hiking pole pairs they should be an extra.recommended with installation warning.

Don't buy this

Rating:*
I opened the package. When to put them on the walking sticks and they split down the side. Now do I spend more money to send them back.

Old and brittle rubber

Rating:*
Both of the rubber tips cracked when they were placed onto the poles. It appears that they were old and the rubber was brittle.

Should have been included

Rating:***
I bought a walking cane from Sierra. Purpose was to stabilize my walking gait because of increasing age. Included was a collar for use in snow. Not included was the tip allowing the cane to be used in the city. I then ordered the rubber cane tips so I could use the cane. I must say they are comfortable, compact and useful. I don't know how else you could describe something that was necessary to be able to utilize something else.

Doesn't work for me

Rating:***
I walk with two canes. The idea of the poles for me is to stand straighter. They do that, but if the pole is tilted slightly on a slick surface the pole slides. I need more of a cane tip. I'm trying to figure that out now. They would probably be okay for someone with good balance not relying on themm to walk. I could not recommend them for someone with my problems, but would if they just needed them

Pretty good

Rating:***
Works good on flat roads or smooth single track trails. Do not use in rocky terrain because you will get them hung up in the cracks and lose them.

Only place I can get tips

I am disabled and use the tips on a walking stick for ease of use
