Will Take a Beating and Keep on Hiking

Going from a yucca stick, which beat my shoulder joints to the point of residual pain, these Komperdells are just the ticket. And, using two poles is by far better than one ...at least on steep, rocky, pitched trails where balance is precarious at best. That's a given, and these poles do a great job for me.

Good Product

When I went to adjust one pole it fell out and there were no instructions on replacing it. It would have been better if there had been instructions on how to reassemble the pole - it wasn't hard once you figure out how the friction screw lined up.

Great for the price

Poles open and close much easier than my older poles. Don't stick at all. I thought I was getting poles with better grips. These were hard plastic. A longer hike will tell if this is a comfort problem. So far on short hikes, it has been fine.

Great Poles

Ready to use out of the box, I used them to cross a creek and put my full body weight on them and it didnt move or bow. Why spend more when you get everything you need right here, good poles.

Very Sturdy

The only slight issue for me is the size of the grips and the strap that goes around them. I have very small hands, and the grip is designed for medium-large hands.
