| Stylish, warm AND comfortable! I was looking for boots that were stylish enough for the office without having a heel, since I have bunions and end up with excruciating pain if my weight is thrown forward toward the front of my feet. These boots fit the bill! They look great with pants, but they're fancy enough to wear with a dress or skirt as well. They're thin, but warm. True to size, but just roomy enough to wear heavy socks when needed. I can wear them with jeans, too, when I want to dress down without looking too casual. I love these boots so much that, despite the hefty price tag, I've just ordered a second pair (in red this time -- the first pair was black). I own a pair of suede boots with 2" heels from La Canadienne that I bought last year with which I'm also very satisfied (I just can't wear heels for any period of time, but there's nothing wrong with the boots themselves). They're not lying when they say their leather boots are both warm and waterproof. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! |

| If only they fit... I am so terribly sad. I love this brand. I love this boot. It is the perfect height. I love the square toe. I love the look - perfect for dressing up a skirt or dress. And it is comfortable - if it fit. I am an 8 1/2 and have Canadienne Blanche in 8 1/2 that are actually a bit roomy but I could hardly get my foot into the Lili. And, although the Blanche at 12 1/2 inches tall with the same circumference as the Lili fit me wonderfully, the Lili at only 1 inch taller would not close up my calf. I will have to return these but really wish I could keep them! |

| Gorgeous AND sensible - I have these in cherry -- they're so beautiful! I wanted boots that were attractive AND waterproof and these definitely fit the bill. In comparison to other weatherproof boots in this price range (such as Aquatalia), these seem better made and more elegant. They are very flattering to the leg despite having a low heel. I have average-size calves and these just fit at the top. If you have wider calves, they probably won't fit. I have had a pair of black suede La Canadienne boots for several years and they still look great. Dirt and salt stains brush off very easily. I normally wear an 8.5 and that's what I have in these as well. |

| Very Comfortable - I have the Lili in black patent. They are amazingly comfortable. I didn't even try to "break" them in; I wore them for an entire day at work, with no discomfort. One thing I want to note, I am only 5'0 tall, and they are the perfect height for me. They hit about 2 1/2 inches below the knee. If I had *any* suggestion to La Canadienne, I wish these had a little more tread for slippery, snowy surfaces, but I'll take them to the shoe repair place and have something put on the sole for a bit more traction. However, they are GREAT boots and I love them! |

| I got these because I wanted a low-heel boot that I could wear with skirts and dresses for work, going out, etc. I got the black crinkle patent and am extremely happy with them. They are a nice balance between fashionable and classic. They are the most comfortable shoe that I have to wear to work in the winter. They also fit my narrow calves better than any other boot I have tried. I have two other pair of La Canadienne boots and they have held up very well for 2-3 seasons so far, so I'm planning to get lots of wear out of these boots. |

| Love this boot! Like another reviewer said, it fits great on people with average-to-narrow size calves. If your legs are on the thinner side (I’m a clothing size 2), these boots are for you! Most other boots look like wellies on me. These are fitted. And very comfortable in the calf. I have the Blanche boots in red and wanted something similar but not exactly the same, so I got these in black. The crinkle patent is beautiful and keeps feet super dry. |

| Great Boots, but Not Quite Right - These are lovely boots, but sadly I have to exchange them for the Blanche. Being athletic, I couldn't close the last inch of the boots over my calf. I've tried on other La Canadienne boots and they've worked, so my guess is that these are just a bit taller than the others. |

| Comfort and style - These boots are like putting on a quality Italian leather glove. Extremely comfortable and stylish - to boot! I am a 7.5 who often orders an 8 but the 7.5 fits very well. |
