La Sportiva Crosslite 2.0 Reviews:

Reviews:

I used these shoes for Tough Mudder (VT). They were an amazing trail shoe, great for muddy wet conditions. Tough Mudder was a 10 mile 28 obstacle course on a mountain. When others were sliding down the mountain in the mud due to lack of traction on their cross trainers I proceeded to move forward. When we were running through the swampy trails others were pulled over to the side getting rocks out of their shoes. I never took my shoe off and never had a rock. The mud and water that sifted in drained right out and dried out very quickly as well. I did the competition with 18 others, I was the only one with no blisters, and the only one who could rinse off their shoes after and use them again. Only downside at first I thought was going to be the extra arch support. On pavement the arch support was a little much, but once you hit the trails you find quickly you need that support and the shoe worked out amazing.

These are the best running shoes I've had in a long time. While they are excellent for trails, I find they are comfortable for running on the road too. Plenty comfortable and very solid. I wore Montrails for years, but the quality has steadily diminished over the years, and they seem to get wider and wider. The La Sportiva shoe is built for a narrow foot, generally, and that's perfect for me. It seems people either have a La Sportiva foot, or they do not. So, if you have a narrow, high arched foot, these are perfect shoes. I run ~25 miles a week in these, and they have lasted for 5 months. I am on my second pair now. I hope they make these forever.

These shoes are amazing. I live in Vail and use them for local trail runs and races. They have the perfect amount of tread and grip without causing excess labor. I was concerned about trail shoes being too heavy but this pair is even lighter than my Asics road shoes. They are so comfortable, I find myself wearing them to work. Can't say enough good things about them, and they look darn cool.

This is an even better shoe than the regular Crosslite! More sole support and a tab on the back to help in putting them on. Great arch support. Looks great, too. Wish they came in more colors. Make sure to use the La Sportiva Size Chart and it is accurate. I give this shoe 10 stars!
