The Lafuma Hako Down Vest insulates your core with anatomical baffles, blocks wind with DWR-coated Windactive polyester fabric, and reverses for swift getaways. Unlike your standard bubble vest, the Hako has a low profile that slides easily under a shell without turning you into a fat suit experiment.

Evaluation part 2 | |

| The vest is way too baggy in the torso and if you purchased the black you look just like your wearing a trash bag since the black is very shinny. Even though it is too baggy in the torso the arm holes fit very tight just wearing a long sleeve T-shirt. Any thing heavier will be extremely uncomfortable it you can get you arms thru the holes, much less having the circulation cut off to your arms. The arm holes are not elastic. Not worth the money. | |

Too big | |

| I was looking for a slim fitting down vest for everyday and hiking. I'm 6'1'' and 155 lbs and usually wear a medium. Felt like this thing swallowed me. If it had fit or I had a small, might have kept it, but really wasn't impressed with the vest overall | |

The Large Lafuma Vest | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This is not a high end vest but it is functional. The Jacket conterpart is even more useful and functional. The problem is the sizing is HUGE. I usually can wear a large vest. Lafuma large looks like a XXXL. I reordered a Medium and thought all was fine. NOT SO. It is huge. BC doesn't carry a Small in the vest which is no doubt what I need. The medium is equal to a XL in other brands. It is a functional plain jane vest that would be alright if the size was more in line with normal people and not Giants. | |
