The Lafuma Naeba Down Parka covers you in warmth from hip to hat, with an extended-length hem and removable, faux-fur-trimmed hood. Lafuma uses 80/20 duck down insulation, which clusters better than goose down and reduces shifting over time. Two front flap pockets hold your keys and wallet so the dual handwarmer pockets can do their job unhindered. Internal phone, media, and mesh pockets organize your hectic life. To clarify, Naeba refers to the snow-covered Japanese mountain by the same name, and not the North American Elk Breeders Association—a fact we were slightly disappointed to learn.

Not very fitted but comfy | |

| The length of the torso and arms fit me well, which is nice because I'm 5"11" and medium sized. The jacket was a bit wide and was not very flattering. It wasn't big to the point of gangster-ness, but it's not the cute down jacket I wanted. The brown was nothing special. There are some beautiful rich shades of brown out there, but this was not one of them. The fur around the hood looked cheap. I'm sure if I looked closer, I would have realized that the hood was removable, not the fur ON the hood. I'm sure it looks good without the hood, but hoods are very nice in the winter. I gave it a 2 because it wasn't that unflattering [maybe I have unrealistic expectations for a sexy down jacket for a tall girl?]and it seemed super comfy. I can easily see how someone who didn't want a snug jacket [or a tacky hood] would really enjoy this coat. | |
