No better bag for price or even more!

Rating:*****
You will not find a better bag at this price...or maybe even a higher price! I took this for 4 nights into the Wind River Range in WY and two mornings we had ice in our water containers. I was warm throughout the night and never had to pull the bag all the way closed! Plus, it's very light.

I compared it to a North Face bag which costs over $200 and the North Face bag used lesser down (600 fill power as opposed to this which is 650). I also felt the NFace bag wasn't as good.

You can't go wrong with this bag! I'm more than glad after using it that I bought it. It's also got tighter leg space which keeps you warmer, but the room at shoulders and elbows was perfect!

Other Bags I looked at were Sierra Designs and they were very wide at the knees (as were the NF bags) and that causes heat loss.

The zipper hangs up...not by getting caught on material...but b/c it's a smaller zipper which does save weight and leaves less room for cold air...so I think it's a trade.

warm and cozy

Rating:****
So I was afraid to get a down bag and I bought this after takling to a friend. I used it in the north woods of Wi for 4 nights and low was down to 40 to 47 and i was warm, had to unzip some. It is light and packs easy, and soft and cozy. I'am a flopper at night so it could was some more girth, but one of the larges of it kind. ( take some length an give it more girth) and pad tabs would be a treat. I hope it holds up well, price is getting up there but some times you have to spend the big bucks to get the goods.
