Crushing race courses and grabbing medals are what Lange is all about. The Banshee Pro is Lange’s aggressive freeride boot, built for expert and professional freeskiers who crush it out of bounds. Starting with the 135 flex-index World Cup R 11 chassis as a foundation, Lange added freeride-specific modifications like a shock-absorbing footbed and toebox, wide elastic powerband, Recco reflector, and an ISO-DIN-compatible, replaceable Vibram sole. These features, combined with Lange’s renowned progressive forward flex and lateral stiffness, give you the freedom to hike and send the gnarliest terrain on the globe with the power, control, and split-second response of a downhill racer. The Banshee Pro leads the new class of ultra-high-performance freeride boots, and it is not for inexperienced skiers or the faint of heart. If you need more proof, just ask pro skiers Eric Roner and Jeremy Nobis, who helped design it.
The Lange Banshee Pro Ski Boot is a plug boot built using the powerful RL 11 shell. This shell has the long flex pattern that Lange is famous for which allows the skier to control how much power is going into the ski. Used for years on the World Cup by Downhill and Super G skiers, the RL 11 shell gets a few tweaks for all mountain skiing. The elastic power strap, shock absorbing toe box and boot board, external gel tongue pad and optional shin laces absorb vibrations and keep the boot comfy. Vibram soles on the Lange Banshee Pro Ski Boots help to keep the sole side down when hiking and dancing.

Lange Banshee Pro Ski Boots 2010: The Lange Banshee Pro Ski Boots are the perfect all-mountain high performer. Featuring Lange’s classic long, progressive range of flex for more control, power, and versatility through every turn, the Lange Banshee Pro has been specifically tweaked for all-mountain riding to give you the perfect blend of comfort and performance. With a higher, stiffer 110 flex index and narrower 98mm forefoot width, the Lange Banshee Pro Ski Boots are designed for advanced skiers who want a snug fitting ski boot for high performance.

The Banshee Pro comes from Lange's famous racing shell and is one of the most technical, high performance all-mountain boots on the market. It features some unique elements that are perfect for skiing in all conditions and challenging terrain
Lange took the 2009/10 Banshee Pro and put it in the oven, softening this year's version just a tad for the mortals. It still has the World-Cup-bred R11 shell and all the features of its new big brother the Super Banshee, but with a 110 flex index, experts will be able to ski this boot all day long no matter what the conditions.

Yep its a killer boot! | |

| Look, boots are very very personal and what is right for one person may not be right for another. As for me, I am still skiing mine 4 yrs later and I ski them hard. I LOVE how they hold my heel. They are a solid and true boot and I have never considered "wishing" I had a diff boot in all these years. Quite honestly, I hope they never change it. The boot takes a bit of time to warm up and mold to your foot. The entry is a not easy for me but then again we dont ski killer terrain for the "ease" of it now do we? My only critique is the buckles. I like to un-buckle for the lift ride up. That means I am opening and closing regularly and when cold it seems the spring mechanism just looses its range. Perhaps thats my bad and a touch of household lubricant would do the trick. In light of how much I LOVE these boots its a small detail to me. Again, boots are very personal and whats right for one person may not be for another. | |

One burly, kickass boot.

| As to be expected from Lange - one hell of a boot. This is my third pair of Langes over the past 7 or so seasons and love this one even more than the previous two (120 Comp and 120 WC). Just like the others, this is a quick, responsive boot with tons of power that has a snug fit. It has a nice high cuff and progressive, but stiff flex that provides and transmits a load of power to the ski. The thick, elastic power strap is an sweet addition allowing the the boot to be really cinched down, almost better than a Booster strap which Ive had on my previous boots. Like the 120 WC, not the most fun to take on or off as they too have a hell of a bite, but it's a small price to pay for the performance. Lastly to top everything off, the boot has a nice clean, classic look. Nothing fancy or shiny like some of the other gimmicky/cheesy looking boots out there. Can't speak highly enough of these. | |

| slid my Surefoot foam fit liners out of my Lange WC 120's into these bad boys last night. Skied Crystal Mtn with a foot of new Sunday 03/08/09. Crud eaters (they don't collapse) and with the stiffer R11 bottom shell provide power and confidence on edge too. Run your hand with fingers down between the backside of your leg and the liner to get off. Expect some bite. New stretchy power strap is better than past efforts and stays put without riding up. All in all a smoother flex than you would expect for such power. Not a fan of stock liners and the gumby tongue program provides nothing. Pure gimmick. Get foamed once and you'll never go back to stock. These boots will improve your game if you ain't got one yet and make you look darn cool if ya do! At the sale price from Evo its a no brainer. With the money you save go to Surefoot and have em foam up some Conformable Liners. | |

| ski 100+ days a year.. this boot is sick. some really great design aspects, and nice new features. i am 6 ft 170-180 and this boot crushes, havent skied a more stable or better performing boot ever. if you charge shit this is a sick boot fer ya. i skied tecnicas my whole life. i suffered awful shin pains in the tecnica boot (esp. the diablo line). this banshee pro totally outperforms. the high cuff eliminates shinbang, sick liner this year( with a new toe foam part that has eliminated any toe pain) oh yeah great to land on from an air. ....id say go with a totally custom insole though. night and day. people underestimate the differance. seriously in any boot you own, it is worth the 200 bucks for a custom footbed (see a reputable boot fitter)... totally worth the money...just get em dialed in, you wont regret it. | |

Great Boots, hard to beat!

| These are the best boots i've owned! While I wish i'd ordered them a size smaller and stretched them, I'm learning that they don't need to be totally cranked down to transfer my intentions to the skis. They provide great support in any situation I've had them in- steeps, bumps, and zooming down the groomers for apres. Haven't had a good powder day here in NM to ride them, but sure they will perform. The vibram soles are great for rocky ascents off-piste and through the resort center, and the RECCO reflector is a nice touch, though I hope I never need it. | |

Maybe the best Freeride Boot Ever?

| I was lucky enough to be sample size and was able to score a pair of these last January. Skied them all last season. From Snowbird to Snowbasin and finishing up in Whistler the end of April, the boots were near perfect. I have to confess I have been skiing Lange my whole life, and this boot is the best fitting of them all. Buy true to size or 1 shell size smaller than you did in the past, as the new toe box is "not your dad's Lange" much wider. | |

Great boots | |

| I love these boots - great flex and plenty stiff enough. I'm 6ft 200lbs,I am a borderline advanced/expert skiier, and ski around 35 days per year. To be honest I was concerned these might be too stiff, but I'm really pleased with my choice. Can certainly flex the boot fine, even on 15F days. Make my backcountry boots (Garmont Axom) seem puny in comparison. One disclosure, I bought mine from Surefoot with their customer liners - I have narrow feet and the fit is excellent. | |

| Careful sizing is very important, and patience while customizing. It took me a solid 8 days of painful foot's asleep sensation until the liner broke in a bit. After the boot started feeling more spacious, I put in my thicker, thermo fit orthodics and then aahhhhhhh! If you have quirky feet features, go to see a local boot fitter. | |
