| I have a big head and have been using a Limar helmet for the last few years. I decided it was time for a new model and this seemed to be very high quality. I did a lot of research on the internet and was convinced. The helmet fits great, came well packaged with an extra liner (not a fit pad but an extra liner) which was a nice touch, the two liners are different and I have been using the red one that seems to be a little more absorbtive. The straps are very generous and easily adjustable. The straps are also removable (a first to my knowledge) which is nice so I can rinse them off. The shell of the helmet is very high quality and the easiest to adjust of any helmet. Ventilation is good as well. I honestly don't have any complaints, the helmet has exceeded my expectiations in every respect. |

nice helmet, not sure about the liner |

| This helmet really looks nice, and fits very well, with the one-hand dial in the back. It seems more compact than the Giro Pneumo (weighs exactly the same as the Giro - 290 grams)that I also got at the same time to compare. I have not yet decided whether to keep it or not - the liner, instead of simple pads that only touch your head in limited spots, is a one piece liner that has small (1/8 inch) holes in the front to keep bugs out, I assume. However, an entire piece of material touches your head, which seems like it could be hot, and cuts down on the effectiveness of the vents, possibly. I am worried about it being too hot in the summer, and have no way to test this. It would be a great helmet for fall through spring. |

| The LAS Squalo helmet has been decribed to me as aggro, and ventilated. I felt that aggro was an unnecessary term. The helmet will definitely turn heads. It looks different than most other helmets I've worn. Instead of sleak open vents, the vents seem angular and remind me of air-intake scoops on cars and jets. It seems a tad bulky to me, so I would tend to lean toward an MTB application, though I'm most certain that the pro-tour has it's share of LAS helmets in the pelaton. It could be better ventilated. I have some experience with super-vented helmets (e.g. Giro Atmos) and it doesn't vent as well as that helmet. The helmet, however, has a much better fit, and a more versatile set of pads (both winter and summer). I am excited to wear this helmet some more. |

Perfect helmet for avid cyclist |

| From the first moment you get this, when you take this out of the box and try it on, this helmet looks and feels like the premium product it is. It's light, incredibly sturdy, the 29 vents prvodie plenty of ventilation, and it has an incredbily comfortable, removable, washable liner. I am guessing that as we move into warmer months with temps consistenly above 75/80 the helmet will feel a little bit hotter on my head (not more than it should, but maybe more than some competitors). It sits great on your head and the adjustment mechanism is easy to use. On long rides I often adjust the helmet with 1 hand without any problem at all. Even the strap has an extra feature, a little sweat-absorbing band that fits right under your chin. Truly, a 1-st class product. |

Great helmet w/extra liner |

| This is my second Squalo; my first is an older model (2007?). It's a great helmet -- very light and comfortable with good ventilation. The newer model adds LAS logos to the chin straps and inside the liner, includes an odd (but removable) chin pad, and comes with a spare liner (which is a nice touch -- I've never seen a liner for sale here, in Europe, or on the LAS web site). This helmet seems to fit best on heads that are slightly oval, as opposed to round. If you prefer Giro or Bell, it may not work for you. But if Specialized helmets fit you, this one may work. |

| I just started cycling in preparation for my first triathlon. Most of the equipment that I have been using for the last few months has been low end or borrowed. I didn't want to invest a ton of money into an expensive sport I wasn't sure I would get into. I'm so glad I decided to "upgrade" my helmet. Compared to what I have been using, this helmet rocks. It is so lightweight and comfortable that I hardly know I am wearing it. I have also received compliments on the styling from "real" cyclists. |

Awesome Helmet, Great Value |

| I was a bit concerned about the sizing since my Kripton was one size fits all. I am just shy of 59cm and the S/M fits perfect, I actually have room to wear a light beanie in the winter. Didn't care for the off set buckle and chin pad but it was quickly adjusted during the fit process to center the buckle and discard the chin pad. Quality lining, soft strap, easy adjustments and very light weight not to mention great Italian styling and good venting. I should buy another. |

| Great overall helmet. Very high quality and super light. The fit was perfect right out of the box. Aggressive design but it works well on this helmet. Rear adjustment knob is a nice touch as well. Not cheap, but when you open the box you understand why it costs more than a cheap-o helmet. Oh yeah, did I mention it's made in Italy (not China). Not that this REALLY matters, but there's something about Italian cycling gear. |

| I thought I had just found a great deal, but turns out the coolest guy in my ride group already had one of these, so I got not only a great deal but I'm at the cutting edge of helmet tech. Superb fit system and two interchangeable pads, so one can be in the wash while the other's in the helmet. Good ventilation. |

| Great italian quality you won't find with any other helmet that is sent to China for manufacturing. All the little details are well worth the extra price tag. An exotic helmet and a great price at Sierra Trading! Fit is great and an almost infinate amount of adjustments will probably fit most heads. Great look and feel and highly recommended!! |
