A lovin' Spoonfull | |

| I bought this multi-tool after retiring my trusted Swiss Army Knife. I was somewhat apprehensive since I had carried my Swiss for over twenty years. On my first shake down hike of the year, my buddy forgot his eating utensiles. I used the saw blade to quickly saw through a branch. I was amazed by how fast I sawed through the wood. I then used the very sharp knife blade to whittle a spoon in short order. My buddy and I were very impressed. Other than that, it just does what I need it to do. The can opener opens cans, the cork screw opens wine bottles, the pliers extract fish hooks from fish, etc. I haven't used the tool a whole lot so I am curious as to how long the blades will last before becoming dull. | |

Not sure if it's too big or too small

| For a day trip, and perhaps a weekend... I love this tool. For anything of substance, I like having a larger, more solid knife. I then find myself taking both - which defeats the purpose. I love this tool and find myself bringing it with me to cut an apple or tighten a screw. Unfortunately, it's too big for a key ring and too small for any serious use. I should have gotten the Leatherman Wave. | |

| the scissors, pliers, and screwdrivers are great... the rest is just ok. the corkscrew is akward, but does work. i haven't had an occasion to use the saw, but it looks like it can do a number on a variety of small items. to me, the blade feels unbalanced and uncomfortable. overall, this is too heavy to carry in my pocket everyday. it happily lives in my bag and gets regular use. | |

"Great little tool" | |

| This is a great little tool. I used this guy so much in my 2 years in the Peace Corps, West Africa. I even had a bag stolen once, and I got all the contents of my bag back from the theif... except for my multi-tool; he gave me cash for a replacement... that's how nice this multi-tool is! Be careful though! It doesn't have locking blades! | |

| Excellent variety of uses with this tool. I use it at the shop, and at home. Comes in handy when you can't find a screw driver, the scissors, or any other tool! I carry it in my pocket everywhere. I do wish it had the ring like the smaller leatherman. It would come in handy to attach it to a caribeaner, or a key chain. Awesome product! | |

"Very handdy" | |

| I keep this device in my climbing bag. It’s always nice to have a tool when you need it. Clearly the knife gets used the most, but it’s cool having the bottle opener and screwdrivers. This isn’t the best leatherman out there. The handle is anodized aluminum and there is a little play in some of the tools. But overall it gets the job done. | |

"My tool has just the right number of functions"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Was always a bit skeptical of these multi tools. Loved a simple large knife, and corkscrew of course. However for longer trekking and travelling, when anything and everything happens - and repairs need to be done - this tool is awesome. And so easy to use - not fiddly - just the right size for mobility and efficiency | |

| Neat and compact and useful. Compared to my old Swiss Army knive, it's heavier and doesn't have as solid bottle opener and cork screw, but all the tools are serviceable. Pliers come in very handy and scissors are useable. You're not going to fell a tree with this, but it's very useful both at play and at work. | |

"Great lil multitool" | |

| Overall great little multitool. Has all the tools of a larger one, without the weight nor bulk. It opens very easily and tools are easy to get at. I have a XTi for my own use and this was for a friend. | |

| I keep my CS4 in my pocket at all times. I have used every tool and have been very happy with the performance of all of them. This knife is very durable and the blade holds up very well. | |

Disappointing | |

| I had this tool for all of 2 months (light, light use) before there were chips in the blade of the straight knife from nothing but whittling a stick and a broken corkscrew from...nothing. In addition, the thing never felt quite solid like Leatherman's standard stainless-steel models. Rather, it had a fair bit of play between the two components of the tool. Not recommended. | |

Handy Product but a little lacking
| Rating: | ![]() |
| The knife is very useful to have around the house and while camping. The knife is not for serious use, though it will get most "pocket knife" jobs done. The pliers are very very useful and are the only reason I take it out with me. The bottle-opener on mine continues to bend backwards when folded out and used. Also, the saw feels loose when using it. Given its weight and the fact that most of its functions can be accomplished with a simple good backpacking knife, its best use is around the house or while car camping. | |
