my everyday pocketknife
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This replaced a Victorinox Tinker which I carried for many years. I carry this knife everywhere, and it is the first thing I reach for when I need scissors, screwdrivers, or of course a knife. Good Things: * Nice size knife blade. VERY sharp out of the box. * Scissors don't have an extra spring thing to break. * Assortment of standard screwdriver bits and full-size Philips bit. Real, usable screwdrivers. * Full-size needle-nose pliers and wire cutters. * Folds up small. Fits easily in my pocket. * Bright shocking orange makes it hard to lose. Bad Things: * The scissors are folded behind a combination bottle and can opener. I use the scissors about once a day. I use the opener about never. Oops. * During incautious moments I've had the pliers snap shut on my fingers. | |

"Great tool. Has everything you need and nothing you dont."

| This tool is all you will ever need for most of your backcountry needs. The needlenose pliers are great for gripping things, the scissors are great for cutting moleskin, obviously the bottle opener/can opener works as it should, the knife is sharp and readily available on the outside edge so you dont have to open the tool to use it. One thing I don't like is that you have to open the can opener to be able to access the scissors but I can overlook this mistake because of how well the tool works in general. The other reviewer was right in saying that the tools are a little stiff but this fixes itself with time/use. Word of warning: DO NOT USE THIS AROUND SAND!!! (it was very very difficul | |

This is a great pocket multitool
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This is a great multitool. I carry it every day in my pocket. The knife holds a very sharp edge. I use it for everything from carving wood to opening packages. The screwdrivers are very useful and easy to access. The lanyard ring requires a separate tool (such as a thin key) to pull out. The scissors get harder to use as dust builds up, but the bottle opener is a very good design. The pliers are sturdy and the wire cutters are great. Overall, it is a very useful, sturdy, and compact tool. | |

Almost great | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| It's a great tool but I find the flat screwdriver heads are in there way too tight, I usually need a key to help them out. When any of the screwdrivers are used the whole tool tends to flex a little too much for my comfort. Everything else is great though. On a belt it's brilliant but in a trouser pocket or to carry on a trail it's just too heavy. Best thing: it's the first Leatherman tool I've purchased which has been truly sharp from the pack. | |

its pretty durrable, not made 4 hard use

| This knife is always in my pocket. It is handy for small jobs and projects. I take it with me on day trips and weekend campouts. The only reservations i have about this knife are that it bends whenever i use the screw driver under moderate pressure, and that the pliars twist when i bend wire a certain way. Over all, it is a very good tool. I wouldnt use it for survival situations but it is marvoulos at tackling your everyday odd job. | |

Great Tool | |

| I have a bunch of multi tools and bought this small one specifically for lightweight backpacking and it works beautifully for that purpose. Its sharp and cleans trout very well. Only thing I wish it had a sheath, if it did I would use it on a more regular basis, without a sheath its not comfy enough to put in a pocket but for backpacking going light I wouldnt take the sheath anyway. | |

Picked this one up,cheap!!

| Just got this, brand new at a flea market. Did'nt come in a box nor did it have a sheath, but it is unused and only cost me [$]!! Have'nt used it yet but seems to be solidly built. Will be great at work and around the house. I've used a squirt p4 for about a year now ,but this will be able to take on bigger tasks. [...] | |

"Got to have it!!!!" | |

| This tool is the best!!! It has every feature that i need and nothing i don't. It works great at work and also when i am hiking, and biking. I highly suggest this tool if you want a rugged tool that easily fits in your pocket. Also the the bright orange helps you find it if you drop it in the dirt. | |

"Sweet looking tool, well built, very useful"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I bought this knife before going camping in the backcountry of Peru. It was so useful, especially when giving first aid, cutting moleskin, or eating oranges. The whole tool is very well built and similar to a Swiss Army tool. However, while the scissors are stronger than a Swiss Army knife, they are not as precise. Overall, a great buy. | |

"A handy little tool." | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I love this knife. It is reasonably lightweight, well made and easy to use. If you have ever feared losing a finger nail just opening other knives, you will be very pleased with how nicely this one opens up. I was a little disappointed to find mine is a boring gray color, not the orange shown in the picture. | |
