| The Leki Sierra AS Trekking Pole, with the photo mount on the top, for some reason does not come with this basket, or with any other basket for that matter. This means the pole tends to sink into soft ground and collect leaves in the fall. The pole is wonderful, and a great help to an old guy's knees, especially going down the mountain, but the basket is absolutely essential in my opinion. It kept the leaves from climbing up the pole, and ensured good purchase in soft ground. It attaches and de-attaches readily and works perfectly. | |

| Very good. At first I took these off my poles thinking they were stupid, but then when my poles would sink down in dirt and mud in the summer, I tried them again and they really solved the problem. The only thing is that if you're bushwacking, they often get stuck on branches and stuff. It's pretty worth it, though. | |

| I bought this to replace a basket that went missing in action after a hike. This is easy to put on and will definitely prevent your poles from sinking too far into muddy ground. It does collect dirt and needs to be cleaned after each hike. | |
