Excellent fit | |

| Tips were tested on "non-REI logo" Komperdell poles. Fit is excellent. They mount securely without any shifting or movement during use. The inside diameter of the channel that accepts the tip of the pole decreases at its terminus, corresponding to the diameter and shape of the carbide tip of the pole. The transition to the narrower section is strengthened my a metal washer. The symmetrically round shape to the head provides for a secure footing regardless of what angle the pole is to the surface. I have used these tips on pavement (only when necessary), gravel, and hard-packed and loose soil with positive results. | |

| No, I didn't wear the rubber tip out! It was sucked off my pole by the same mud that wouldn't let go of my boots at my sister's new place which is all bulldozed with these big deep bulldozer tracks all over the place or I would be able to find it and screw it back on. Lesson learned: tighten the rubber tip every 3000 miles or stay out of my sister's yard when it is raining even if she is moving in and you'd rather be watching Dale Jr lose another NASCAR race. | |

| Got these to protect the carbide tips that come standard on the Super Makalu's. They slip right over the standard tips, and just pop um off when your in the dirt. Keeps um from pokin' through the travel bag too.Strained some muscle in my ankle training for the marathon. With these new tips,I can use a stick in the house to hobble from room to room lookin for the remote... | |

| I do a lot of backpacking up in the high sierra, so I bought these to see if they will work climbing around all the granite. The Leki instructions that came with the poles said not to use them on rock, only pavement or indoors. But, I can say that they are built tough and were shipped quick! | |

| Hard to get excited over trekking pole tips, right? But, FYI, they can be used on the bottom of the Black Diamond Terra CF poles for inside or pavement use. Since Moosejaw doesn't stock the Black Diamond rubber tips, it's nice to know that these work and you can do one-stop shopping. | |

| They do their job. Protect the snap-tips, and usually stay on. Just make sure that if you're hiking through think mud that the tips don't come off. I lost one of mine hiking in Alaska, and never got it back. They usually stay on well, though. | |

| Great tips for protecting the surface when you are hiking in delicate areas that you do not want to marr or scratch. They offer good grip, quite the noise from the carbide tips, and protect the surface of trail you are on. | |

| The metal collar inside the tip helps protect the point. Great idea. Have started lifting weights to build strength to get them off and on. They fit very very tight and there is no threat they will ever fall off accidently | |

| Needed to have rubber tips for our upcoming hike on the Inca Trail. If you don't have the tips, they take your poles away from you. Can't have that. We'll see how well they hold up. | |

| The tips are a bit expensive but serve their purpose well. Most of my hiking is on hardpack and ashphalt, with about 80 miles on them, my tips are showing no wear and provide stable traction. If you're hiking on a hard surface the tips are a must have. | |
