New for 2008, the LEKI Trail Trekking Poles are ideal for entry-level or cost-conscious hikers and backpackers. Providing reliable performance with no-frills, Ergo Soft rubber grips offer a comfortable handhold, while an integrated strap helps to reduce stress on your wrists and give additional security. Standard trekking baskets are included and are interchangeable with a simple screw on/off design that stays secure.
The Leki Trail Trekking Poles are an incredible value for the performance, and durability you will get out of these as long as you have them. With this angle you get a more efficient placement and your wrists won't fatigue as quickly. A great pair of poles to take with you on any trekking adventure.

Leki's Trail Trekking Poles are high-quality 3-part telescoping poles at an affordable price You get all the reliable durable components you need and less of the frills which makes the Trail poles ideal for recreational walking, hiking, and snowshoeing.

If you're looking for trekking poles with a comfortable grip and you'd rather not mess with a complicated five-setting shock-absorbing system, grab the Leki Trail Trekking Poles. A 15-degree ergonomic grip keeps your wrist at a neutral, relaxed position as you hike, which cuts down on crampy wrist fatigue. Adjust the Trail Trekking Poles to the right height for steep uphill climbs and lengthen them for your descent.

| I really appreciated having my poles on my first "high peak 4000 +" I feel it made a huge difference in my "after hike" experience. They also gave me a feeling of security and the carbon tips did work. My only complaint was the video instruction, they were not clear and I sort of had to learn as I went. | |

| I have hiked before without poles but this time was so much easier with the Leki poles. They adjusted easily and are lightweight and easy to tuck into your backpack if you decide you don't need them. The Customer Service Rep at Altrec was very helpful and patient. | |

| These poles are great. Super light! Excellent traction caps on them too. Can't believe they are so strong for their weight! Fully adjustable for short to tall. I'm 6'5 but they would easily fit someone 4'0. The poles are double adjustable. | |
