No spills | |

| I got this so we would no longer have any spills. Being a mother of 7 with kids from ages 3-15 it is great to have one since all my kids can drink out of my 32 oz bottle. I do not have to worry about spilling since I got the sip guard. My kids love it since they don't get water all over them self well drinking. My 6 year old boy says "I love it since I know can drink out of momma's bottle with out getting wet! I feel like a big boy when I drink out of the bottle." -Cole | |

| This is definitely a great item! I'm able to walk and drink without fear of spilling anything on me! Also it's both durable and flexible; it fits perfectly in my water bottle without breaking. | |

| So years ago, I purchased something very similar to this, that wasn't made by Nalgene. After losing my Nalgene (with off-brand spill protector in place) while flying recently, I had to replace my Nalgene with spill protector. I was unhappy to discover that I could no longer find the off-brand of this product, and had to buy the Nalgene. Not a big deal, I thought, I'll give it a try. However, the previous design was much smarter--it had a shaped & raised area for placing your lips around, with a hole at the opposite end (would be top if you were drinking) for air. This design is flawed in my opinion because there is too much space above your lip, which still allows for spilling while trying to drink in the car, etc. Just last night I spilled all down the front of my coat and into my lap because I tried to take a drink while my husband was driving. I just think that Nalgene needs to take this one back to the drawing board and see if they can improve the design and functionality. I'm going to continue to look for the off-brand design that I had bought before... but if this is the only option, it is better than nothing. | |
