| I bought this on sale on a Saturday night and put it up on Sunday. Directions were clear and everything fit together as it should, no misaligned holes, etc. It does take a pretty decent set of tools - you'll need two sets of wrenches, one socket, one open ended crescent and up to 3/4" size, and either an electric drill or heavy duty cordless (mine worked fine). I had it together in just over 3 hours doing it all by myself except for a little help from my 6 year old (hold this steady for a second) and the last step had help from my wife. I spent hours at a time shooting hoops as a kid, and even though I'm 42 and was tired after putting this together, I still spent a solid 30 minutes testing it out; can't wait to watch my son play and get better. By the way, the bad review where the person said the metal prongs welded on to the rim broke off must have not read the directions, this net doesn't hook over the prongs like the nets you were probably used to as a kid; the prongs are connected to the rim on both sides and you're supposed to put the net loops up into the prongs and run a heavy duty string (provided) through the prongs, around the entire circumference of the rim, tie the string and that holds the net up. Hard to describe, a little hard to put up, but seems to work very well, anyhow, I'd bet anything that person forced the prongs to bend to hook the net over them and busted them. READ THE DIRECTIONS FIRST ON THIS ONE FOLKS, AND YOU'LL BE FINE. |

Great Hoop |

| This hoop is so great this is my third hoop in a year! all my other ones were so garbagy..... Would have used other words but they wouldn't let me. so i spent the extra 100$ which was well worth it! And now i have this great hoop that i have had for about 6 months and is perfect. It hasn't showed any signs of breaking. Its great for all uses and isn't hard to put up. My neighbors dad put it up for me in 3 nights working for about an hour each night with no trouble.

| GREAT BUY for the money. My son is 11yrs old and he just loves it. The backboard is nice and sturdy, the rim is just great. (wished it came with the enclosed spring)Had one problem with the bolts for the spring, one bolt snap off just the head of the bolt. Ran to home depot and got another one, bought two just to have on hand. Over all great purchase.
The base is awesome, huge base for support i used water to fill it for now. I would recommend sand for long term. |

| This Basketball hoop is the best ever. i am so happy because it is a very easy to assembly and it is for a low price. I play everyday because of this hoop. I would recommand this hoop to everyone. do not pay extra to get it assemblied from Dicks Sporting Goods because it cost to much. It take like 30 minutes to an hour with 2 people and even quickier with 3. Hurry in to buy one before it solds out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| Hi Quality product. Goes together well. Assembly instructions improved over previous models, but sometimes illustrations could be larger to be more clear. All parts and hardware were included. It took about 4-5 hours to setup with all the correct equipment - drill and socket set are musts. |
