Lots of Board movement | |

| If you like alot of backboard movement after a shot this is the system for you. It took (7) 80 lb bags of cement to fill the 18" x 24" pit and bottom third of the pole per the directions. You would think with 560 lbs of cement that it would be pretty stable, but with the 3 piece pole design there is still sway in the upper half of the pole when you shoot and hit the ball on the backboard. I called Lifetime to ask if it would be ok to fill the remainder of the pole with cement to stiffen it up, there generic response was "it is not good for the pole and will void the warrenty". The old portable lifetime system we had was much more stable in the upper pole and backboad than this fixed pole design. The only good thing about this fixed pole system is that I don't have to worry about the wind blowing it over on my car! | |

Parts missing that effect game play | |

| The Portable in Ground Basketball kit you buy does not come with the required parts to make it a portable. The Store carries the sleeve(part 0023) to make it portable, but not the 2.5 inch spacer(part 1024936). This means that in every setting, your hoop is off measurement 2.5 inches. Calling Lifetime, I found an 1 hour 13 minute wait time. Oh yea, and the box says assembled in the USA, but the parts say made in China | |

| Everything wobbles when you shoot. The whole unit is not very stable despite using 12 80-lb bags of cement. The unit is also 3†shy of 10’. Not a quality unit at all. It was also missing parts and had to contact the vendor for the parts. | |
