Livestrong LS9.9IC Indoor Cycling Bike

I purchased this bike about 3 weeks ago and I am very happy with it. Shipping took about 1 week, the driver helped me carry the box down to my basement and setup was very easy. The steps in the instruction manual were very easy to follow and took about 30 mins to completely assemble and setup the bike.

Once I started riding it I have been very happy with the bike. The pedals ride smoothly, handlebars are very comfortable, resistance knob is calibrated well (not too loose and not to sensitive), seat is the same comfort level as any spin bike (takes time to get used to, but after 3-4 uses you'll get accustomed to it just like with any spin or road bike) and the computer is very easy to use.

Glad we went with the more expensive Livestrong brand as opposed to some of the less expensive bikes out there. The extra weight of the flywheel and base of this bike make it very sturdy when pedaling hard and when standing.

I would highly recommend this bike for beginners, intermediate or advanced riders.

I previously bought a ProForm Spin Bike from Dicks online and had to return it because of gear problems and it wasn't running smoothly. I decided to invest the extra money in getting the Livestrong bike, since i had tried it in the store and it was very smooth and quiet.

Now that I have it, i'm very pleased with it, as is my girlfriend. It's a very sturdy bike that's clearly a couple cuts above the Proform.

The front wheel does make a ticking noise that's more noticeable when riding it at slower speeds. It's not that loud, but I hope it goes away in time. Perhaps there is a spray that I can use to dampen the noice.

Even if the noise doesn't go away, this was a great investment. Highly recommended. A work colleague just got the same bike and is very happy with it-he doesn't have any noise issues with his bike.

I bought the bike at my local Dick's. My husband put it together rather easily and quickly. I've been riding it for almost 2 weeks and its been great so far. I love having yet another cardio option in addition to running outside and on my treadmill. I have bursitis in my hips and I needed a low impact, high intensity alternative to running. This does the trick nicely. Seat is a little uncomfy, but I've never used a spin bike with a comfy seat. I put a gell seat cover over the stock one, but it doesn't really help. Bike seems very sturdy and it's very quiet. I use the computer to track time and distance. I don't care for the workout DVD that came with it, so I just do my own spinning intervals. So far, so good!

This is a well built bike that is very smooth while pedaling I have had it for a week and have about 2 hours in the saddle so far. At first bike was a little loud, but with some tightening of bolts and lube, it is perfect.

Seat and handle bars are easy to adjust. Amount of resistance while pedaling is easy to adjust. Bike is made of some heavy duty material and seems like it will las a very long time.

DVD that comes with bike is good. It contains interval and weight loss workouts that each last a half hour.

By using this machine twice a day has improved
my strength and endurance on my road bike.
I bought this machine so I can keep in shape on cold wet days. It is well built.
It dosen't move when I stand up on the peddles to practice going up grades. Easy to adjust wheel tension. I can make it as hard as I want. Seat is comfortable but I use padded bike shorts. I wish the computer console had a lite diplay. Well worth the money.

This is an amazing piece of home exercise equipment. Gym quality cardio gear but affordable enough for the general user. My only complaint is that the braking mechanism squeaks constantly and I've found no solution so far. Customer support suggests that any noise on the pads should go away after a "short break-in period." I'm a few hours into this bike and no quieting in sight. Call it a compulsion and not bad enough to not recommend the product. Just turn the TV or music a little louder and you'll be fine!!

My husband and I are both cyclists and chose the Livestrong bike after shopping around a while to upgrade our home spinner. (Also purchased the Livestrong 13.0 elliptical and love it!)

Lance should be proud to have his name on this bike! Assembly was a piece of cake. Sizing is easily adjustable between my husband and I - computer works great - very sturdy. A great workout when we can't get out on our road bikes. Still in love with it after 6 months of use 3-4 times a week!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. He put it together the day after and the bike went together very quickly and smoothly. When riding it is very quiet and easy to adjust. Love the onboard computer for heart rate readings. One small issue with the knob to adjust the tension-- you seem to have to turn it quite a while to make the adjustment. Overall it is an exceptional bike. Great service through Dick's and Atlas shipping.

This is a great exercise bike. It is very tight, feels like you are riding an actual bike and does not take up a lot of room in the house. It looks good and is easy and quick to change the seat heights between my wife's settings and mine. I would recommend this bike to anyone interested in getting in shape. The computer does a good job of displaying time, distance and heart rate. Good bike for the money!

My lovely wife and I use it daily as part of our excercise regimen. It is of great quality, rock solid craftsmanship and has multiple adjustments to the seat and handle bars making it a perfect fit for any person's height, leg length or arm length. I am an avid road cyclist and this is a perfect addition for my winter/foul weather training needs for our church's annual "Freedom Ride" Charity Event. We recommend this highly.
