Mad Rock Madrock Mugen Tech Lace Lace Up Rock Climbing Shoe Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

Excellent all around shoe

The Mugen Tech Laces are a great all around shoe. They are great for heel hooking and toeing down while bouldering and sport climbing but are comfortable enough for multi-pitch trad routes. These shoes fit me well and have been great for climbing.

Negative Reviews:

Cheap construction, didn't fit

As compared to my Evolv Defy's in the same size (which are too tight on my big toe) these are too loose on the big toe and too tight on the other four. Perhaps it could be a good fit for someone with a very long big toe. They also feel cheaply made, but you get what you pay for. I returned these and got the 5.10 Anasazi Verde's in the next size larger, which fit great. To the operators of the site: Why do you ask about arch support on a climbing shoe? That is like asking about arch support on a sock, it makes no sense. I entered "minimal" because I had to enter something to complete the review form, and of course a climbing shoe is not for support. Duh.
