Marmot Mountain

It's been a while since we saw anything really new and exciting in the Randonnee binding area, but the new Duke immediately makes Marker a significant player. The Duke is all about downhill performance! It's a big-mountain binding designed for those who want to crank turns anywhere in any conditions, with release settings of DIN 6-16, and it has a free heel randonnee function. The Easy Release Climbing feature allows you to skin into those favorite chutes with free heel touring comfort. You do have to take your skies off to switch from uphill to downhill mode and back, but for the downhill performance you get, it could be worth it. Comes with 110mm brake. Sizes: Standard (265-320mm), Long (305-370mm). Wt: 6 lbs

For The out of bounds enthusiast the Marker Duke is a must have. With a 6-16 Din the Duke is designed to hold you in even during the most abusive situations that you can subject a binding to. Light weight and durable the Duke also features a quick and effortless transfer into a touring binding. Simply flip a lever and the binding slides off of tracks that attach the heel to the ski and now you have a hinged binding perfect for skinning up any amount of backcountry access. Once you reach your destination simply flip the lever back and the binding engages on the rails and becomes one of the highest performing all mountain bindings.
