Description Of Marker Tour F12 Bindings
In 1952, skiing pioneer and innovator Hannes Marker founded the Marker ski binding company and introduced the first commercially successful releasable ski binding. What followed over the years were many changes, evolutions and market firsts; such as the Simplex Toe; Rotomat Heel; Active AFD; Stainless steel AFD; Mechanically Operating Toe Cups; Twincam; Full Spectrum; Biometric; and revolutionary performance interface systems like Selective Control and new Piston Control. As proud skiers place their trust and confidence in Marker's meaningful innovation, exciting technology and optimized performance and protection.
The innovative Marker Tour F12 bindings were developed based on a 76mm minimum ski width. They feature new, lighter weight Triple Pivot Compact toe and Hollow Linkage heel components. The new toe and heel sit atop a smooth-flexing frame design which features a new, glove friendly release lever that puts the binding in touring mode. The new toe features a height-adjustable gliding AFD designed specifically for AT boot soles, while also compatible with alpine boots. A weight-saving 'hollow' axle forms the pivot point in the heel. Its design is light weight, compact, and easy to step into, while the spring focuses energy directly toward the heel of the boot for optimum skiing performance. Stand height is 34mm.
