The Abode Tent by Marmot is a super stable, 2 person tent that is highly versatile in any three season camping situation. One of the coolest parts ot the Abode is its unique poles system that crosses over midway through the ellipse, creating an amazingly stable tent that can take strong winds and sudden storms. The doors that are put onto the Abode have a no-drip door system, so when it rains the water can stay on the outside of the tent and not in the vestibule.
The Abode 2 Person Tent from Marmot offers an ultralight option without losing any of the durability you've come to expect from the Marmot name. The new designs for the clip and pole systems reduces weight and provides more space and improved habitability.

| I have taken this tent on a few trips since I bought it a few months ago, and I have nothing bad to say about this tent. I have not tested this yet to see if it can handle any snow but it definitely holds up to rain and wind. The Inside is very roomy for 2 people and I am a little bit bigger being about 210 pounds there is still lots of room to sit up and have another person in the tent. Also the 2 vestibules offer plenty of room for 2 peoples gear. It is light weight great for backpacking and touring. Easy to set up, i have had this tent and rain fly up in under 2 minutes on one trip when the rain started pouring in the NW. This is a great tent. | |

| I spend a week every summer trekking through the boundary waters. My old tent was a creek side sale special that had major condensation problems. This tent has tons of room for two, is well constructed, pretty decent on weight, and much much better on condensation. Overall, this is a pretty good buy. This tent isn't top of the line, but it certainly won't break the bank and is really good at keeping you dry and comfortable. | |
