Great jacket - I recommend
| Rating: | ![]() |
| The jacket fits the description perfectly. After a month of daily use in winter (about 30 degrees on average) I am very satisfied with the warmth and fit. All of the zip pockets are great and I am able to carry wallet, phone, gloves, and misc items easily during my daily commute. I have used the jacket for snowshoeing and skiing by wearing a waterproof shell over top - it is breathable and water resistant but needs just a little extra in snowfall. I think the size runs small which is why I said the fit is small. I do want to say that the large size fits me great. The only reason I did not give the jacket 5 stars is the high cost. If after a year or two it is still in great condition then the high cost is worth every penny. | |

Great Jacket | |

| It is a very clean looking jacket, the nicest looking jacket I have ever owned (the picture does not do it justice). I am in between a medium and a large(tall but skinny) for most jackets and the large fits me perfect (why I said it feels small compared to most larges). It is best used as casual, or day hiking in cold weather. I wore it in 35deg weather with ~20mph winds with a sweater underneath and I was plenty warm. Little details of the jacket like a draw chord waist, dri-climb collar, and windproof laminate really separate it from casual clothing companies jackets. | |

Too Nice for the Woods | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I purchased this jacket for business casual and visiting. Very nice jacket. You would never know it was a Soft Shell meant for the woods. Though it would work for that, it is too nice to take into the woods. I have a few other jackets for that. I have worn it down to 15 degrees and not a problem and does a great job of blocking the wind. Also handles snow and rain (but have not used it in a sustained rain, just to get from the car to a building) | |

Well made jacket - if you can afford it
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I tried this on in the [...] store - great shop. I'm 5'10 170lb. The medium fit well except was tight in the upper back if I reached out. The large was too long in the sleeves and was a little too big for my frame. I'm not sure I could live with the fit. Too bad for me because it was very well made, sharp looking, warm, and I am into wool right now. | |

MIXED BAG BUT NICE COAT | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Not quite as warm as stated in other reviews. Fit is tricky. Jacket is almost tailored so a size up might be too big or long in the sleeves. But the correct fitting size is a bit snug over layers. Makes this more of a spring/fall jacket than a winter one in my opinion. Need to invest in thin fleece or other layer to really make it work for deep cold. | |

Great travel jacket | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I have found this jacket to be good for business travel since it works with either dress slacks or jeans. Appropriate for a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions considering it's weight, size, and appearance. | |

Marmot Adamant Jacket | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I wear a medium, I have a 38 chest, I found this jacket to be extreemly tight. I couldn't wear it at all with a sweater or fleece beneath it, and with just a t-shirt on it was uncomfortably tight. | |
