The sun sets over Glacier National Park before dinner starts, and the temperatures plunge. Slide on the Marmot Men's Guides Down Sweater and enjoy its lofty warmth as you enjoy your meal. Marmot treated this jacket's 700-fill down insulation with Down Defender to resist water in case a light drizzle or snowshower hits your site. And the durable polyester shell and lining have a water-resistant coating so you're doubly protected against wet weather. Meanwhile, Driclime lines the collar and chin guard to wick any moisture away from your neck and chin so you stay comfortable.
Angel-Wing Movement gives the Guides Down Sweater unrestricted movement that won't ride up your waist. Hook-and-loop cuffs keep warmth in, and an elastic drawcord at the hem makes sure cold doesn't creep in. The handwarmers have soft fabric to keep your hands toasty and cozy while you gaze into the fire until it dies.

Great coat!

First of all, I have no idea why they call this a "sweater", its a total misnomer. Its a winter coat. Period.
I've had this coat for a month now, in the bitter Minnesota winter, -26 low and below zero for much of the month, and it has performed very well, the part where the coat resides is always warm. The fit is great, there is no cold nylon where there shouldn't be, it's very lightweight, people like the look and everybody else doesn't have the same coat. The length in back is very nice, and the pullcords in the pockets are great for when the wind is blowing. This has been my favorite winter coat I've ever had and would highly reccomend it. Its a great value as well with the price I got from Rock/Creek, best I could find.

I like it!

I wear it when temperature is below 50F. It's warm and comfortable. I will give it five star rating if it comes with a hood. Overall, if you don't need a hood, I will highly recommend it.

Perfect jacket for the cold.

This is a great jacket for spending a long time outside. It's very light weight, warm, but not too warm either. Great for our Northwest weather.
