The Helium EQ 15° Sleeping Bag by Marmot is a 850+ down filled bag with an outer shell that is constructed with a MemBrain material that provides your bag with waterproofness, breathability and excellent durability. Insulated with a certified 850+ goose down fill with a Nautilus Hood that wraps around your head and reduces heat loss. Stretch Tricot Baffles are integrated into the bag to allow it to be stuffed and unstuffed without tearing the outer material. A trapezoid foot box is designed to be more ergonomic to your actual foot shape making the bottom of the bag wider in the toe area and narrower in the heels.
One of the cooler features of this sleeping bag is its zipper guard that keeps the draft tube fabric from getting caught in the zipper and the down fill oversized draft tube that eliminates cold spots.
In demanding conditions waterproof/breathable fabric preserves the integrity of down. With a MemBrain¬ shell and the highest quality down available, the Helium EQ is a versatile ultra-light bag for mountaineering and backpacking.

| My mom bought my husband and I each one of these bags for our wedding present, and hooray, I love mine almost as much as my husband. We both got the long - I'm 5'9" 130 lbs and it's perfect for me, a bit of extra room at the bottom. It's a little tight for my husband, however, who is 6' 230 lbs. It might have been better for him to try it out in the store first. Anyways, the bag is toasty - I haven't tested it to its limit yet, but I've been comfy indeed at 40 F. The fabric on the inside is soft and smooth. I'm not that keen on the stuff sack, though - it's way too small, we could just barely fit the bags in them and it took a lot of work to do so! | |

| Great website, helpful customer service and speedy order processing. OK, enough sucking up and on to the bag… With luxurious excellence and functional engineering built into every aspect of this sleeping bag, I soon forgot the extra money spent and rejoice in every night spent in total warmth and comfort. The 850 loft is amazing in both how it fluffs and how it compresses (with some effort) into a liter sized stuff sack. I am 5’10 180lbs and the regular size fits perfectly without being restrictive. The full length zipper makes getting in and out a snap. The Aerolight MemBrain fabric outer shell is so light and soft as to be undetectable. I love this bag! | |

| We got these bags for a hike through Paria canyon in Utah. It was around 30 degrees the first night and we were a little cool because we had only the Big Agnes air core mattress. Use closed cell foam underneath if in cold weather. The bag itself is toasty warm, I love the hood, it keeps me from sliding out as I sleep and easily retains clothing wadded up for a pillow. We both got REGULAR and they were plenty long (husband is 5'10"). It feels luxuriously soft and was never clammy--even when the temperatures rose. | |
