Sized specifically for a woman's body and made with meticulously-cleaned and sorted 850-fill goose down for an exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio, the highly efficient Marmot Helium sleeping bag protects you in temperatures down to 15 degrees, packs down incredibly small and weighs in at under 2 pounds to keep you on the fast and light track. f09back

The Women's Helium adds insulation where women need it most for warmth down to 15degree. At less than two pounds, it's ideal for lightweight mountaineering and backpacking.
The Marmot Women's Helium is an ultralight 15-degree down sleeping bag for women who want it all but don't want the weight. The 850-fill down Women's Helium weighs just 1lb 13oz and packs down super small. But it'll keep you warm down to 15F (-9C). This bag is shaped for women; it has a shorter length and thinner shoulder width than the men's version. In addition, the Helium has increased insulation in critical heat loss areas, so you stay warmer. A down-filled draft tube provides additional heat retention. If you're a minimalist 3-season backcountry traveler, shave off the extra weight and space of bulky unisex bags, and go with the Women's Helium.

Finally, I'm warm. | |

I had a TNF Blue Kazoo for about a decade. It was a great bargain, but I found the 20 degree temp rating to be way too optimistic for me (I sleep cold). So, with my great desire to have light things that work well, I bit the bullet and bought this expensive bag. I have found the temp rating to be more accurate than the kazoo, BUT, I wouldn't use this bag under 30 degrees without some hefty additional underlayers and hot water bottles. The bag itself is comfy (the regular is great for my 5'4" frame), the zipper sticks a fair bit, but is manageable. The hood works pretty well, and I LOVE the full-length zipper, I intentionally avoided this bag when it had the 3/4 length zipper (up through last year) because I like to stick out a foot when I get hot. It's a great bag, at very little weight; I haven't been disappointed.

"Ultralight But Toasty"

| I have to admit -- this is my first ultralight bag. Everything else I've used this far has been the ten-ton roll up bags we've taken car camping, or camping in the living room floor. So imagine my surprise when I find a bag that weighs in at less than two pounds and can keep me -- a cold sleeper -- nice and toasty. The regular is perfect length for me (5'4"), and works great in combination with my sleeping pad (ProLite 4) and liner (Thermolite Reactor). There were even a couple of times I forgot I wasn't in my bed at home! Highly recommended for women seeking a good UL down bag. | |

LOVE this bag! | |

| After intense research for a bag that would suit my needs, i.e., I'm short so I needed a smaller bag, I sleep cold at night, and needed a bag that was ultra light with high quality down, I settled on the Marmot Helium. I can't WAIT to use it in two weeks in the backcountry of the Tetons and Yellowstone. It packs down to nearly nothing. I am so very pleased, and of course, Altrec's customer service is No. 1! My order arrived 5 days after ordering in Georgia with free shipping! Thanks, Altrec, for your good service! | |

Cozy and just my length | |

I bought this bag for backpacking in the Andes. It compresses to a portable package and is super soft inside. It's my first women's specific bag, and i'm stoked on that. No more wasted air at the bottom of the bag for us shorties. It's been soft and cozy from the start!

| I have received it yesterday, so tested incompletely. But I'm sure it will respond to my attempts. | |
