Reviews:

I noticed on one of the reviews for a different piece of the newest Marmot base layers, that someone said that the arms were quite a bit longer that previous editions. Being that I am a somewhat tall skinny guy(6'3", 185lbs) and that most base layers as well as other clothing never really completely cover my wrists, I figured I would give this a shot and ordered the large. SO GLAD I DID!!!! The arm length on this is perfect for me and I am so grateful to Marmot for this! Also love the athletic fit as the large is just fitted enough to not be too "poofy", yet has some room for a tee or silkskin underneath. For the average person, the arm length may be a bit of a downside, but I would rather have too much material, than too little. Also as the other reivew stated, love the feel and look of their material. Really great work, Marmot!
Thanks again for the people who post reviews on here letting the rest of us outdoor gear junkies know what we are getting into when making a purchase!

Bought this because it was on sale and it was cheaper than Patagonia - I wasn't looking for an "all-out-keep-me-warm-shirt". Tried it on once I got it and found out the sleeves and torso were a little long (I'm 5'6" 125lbs - ordered a small). I can't complain about the length though; it keeps me very warm (I get cold easily), doesn't bunch or snag, and is really soft. I wear it around the house and under a regular jacket.

Having 3 sets of older Marmot baselayer tops and bottoms that are now just a little too small so I decided to get this new midweight baselayer as a replacement in black XL and they are excellent. What a difference there is in the latest fabric
technology for providing warmth. Already purchased a second set (blue) and additional midweight top (black).
