Love this Jacket! | |

I totally love this jacket! It's really warm, but it's not too bulky or puffy, the way many down jackets are. It has a slim fit, and is very flattering, especially on a small person such as myself (5'0", 101 lbs). I have it in extra small and it fits perfectly, with room for a sweater or hoodie underneath. It's also very lightweight, so if you need to take it off and carry it or tie it around your waist, it won't weigh you down.

gettin her done | |

I got this for 65 bucks on steep&cheap this summer, so I am okay with the fact that it doesn't make me look super sexy. However it looks pretty darn good for being so warm. The material is soft, so it feels cozy like a sweater and is not stiff, slippery, or 'jacket-y' feeling. I'm 5'5" and 145lbs with defined shoulders and a narrow waist, so I got it in a size small. Its purpose is to mostly replace my old duct-taped and baggy-fitting patagonia size M hooded micropuff which I don't like to wear into civilization (however the jacket is still very serviceable for layering over my shell). It came out of the wash nicely. I like the inner chest pocket and the fuzzy handwarmer pockets, too. The zipper on mine is a little finnicky sometimes.

Wow, she loved it! | |

| I bought this jacket for my girlfriend for Christmas, and she loves it. She wore it around campus during two weeks of single digit temps, and on a one night backpack in the hills near the end of January, and I have to remind her why everyone else looks so cold; she can't feel it! Her favorite features are the handwarmer pockets, which keep her little digits toasty, and the soft feel of the jacket material. The Neve Sweater is flattering on her and the blue is a great color, but best of all it keeps her cozy and puts a smile on her face each time she puts it on. Marmot has made a great product here, and Altrec has made getting it quick and easy. Thanks guys! | |

Awesome for almost every occasion

| This coat is incredibly warm and comfortable! It compacts down well to stuff in to a pack. I can wear it snowshoeing, on the way to work at 5 am or out for drinks- great for lots of occasions. The only issue I have with it is that it stains easily, but then again, I'm a clumsy klutz so maybe that's just me : ) | |

Very fashionable toasty jacket

This coat is my winter staple. I got it in the green color and wear it everyday in the winter. It is very warm and goes with a lot of differnt outfits. It cleans nicely in the washing machine and comes out looking brand new. I have had this coat for a whole season and still looks brand new! I love this coat!

Great non-bulky down! | |

Great jacket! I bought it for my wife and she loves it. She said she is nearly instantly toasty warm, while being lightweight, comfortable and flattering. She likes the adjustable cuff closure and the extra zipper at the bottom. It doesn't really have a hood though - (maybe a prior version of it did?) This should be revised in the specs.

Marmot make excellent products.

| I was skiing a Heavenly Valley last week in this jacket and it was perfect. The temperature was about 35 degrees and it kept me nice and warm. It was windy and the jacket kept the wind out. Great jacket! I called Altrec with questions before I purchased the jacket and they were very helpful.....I'll be back. | |

I love it. | |

| Buy it one size up and you will love it as much as I do. I am petite and medium is perfect. You can layer underneath, and it falls just below the waist for longer shirts and sweaters underneath. You can't go wrong with this jacket, and it's a lot of bang for the buck. | |

Great warmth/ less bulk

I love this jacket for its warmth and fit. I have bulky downs from other companies, but this one is my fav! I have the amythest and the color is great! I am a small person and I ordered an XS which fits perfectly - no bulk! The slightly curved style is flattering... LOVE IT!

Very Nice but a little bulky in shoulders
| Rating: | ![]() |
This jacket is perfect other than a bit of extra room in the shoulders. I am slender, so perhaps someone with wider shoulders would appreciate this fit more. The blue is very pretty, seems warm, and has long sleeves. However, I've returned it for the Millet Quantum Rescue jacket, which is perfect for me.

Great jacket but the Espresso was more wine/plum
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I was looking for a brown jacket & this wasn't it. The color was very different in person & would be more accurately described as wine or plum. It's a nice color, but not what I wanted or expected from "Espresso". That's why I could only give it 3 stars. I did not find it to run small- I order tops in either a small or medium & went with the medium based on some other reviews & it was too big. Otherwise it seemed like it would be cozy & warm and it was very well made! | |

Great Coat but Mis-advertised by company

I ordered this coat thinking that I was getting what they advertised as a 700 fill coat but in actuality it is only 650 fill, buyers beware!! It also lacks the advertised hood.
