So far, so good! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I have worn this jacket skiing and out for long walks in the cold, and so far, so good. On the really cold (single digits or sub-zero) days, I would probably still wear one of my insulated jackets, but this one does the trick in anything short of extremely frigid weather. Wore it for a day of skiing at Snowmass in cold temps (ambient high in the teens, with strong breezes) and was plenty warm with a couple of layers underneath. Loved the breathability in the *pits.* Also liked the stretch and flexibility. Shed water/snow very well. Fit is great. Not at all bulky, and trim, but roomy enough for necessary layers. Like the stash-able hood as well. Some might find the collar too high, but I found it perfect for tucking in my chin to get it out of the wind. All in all a great purchase. I have mostly bought Cloudveil recently, and this stands up to the quality of their softshells, while having a very different look. | |

As an avid outdoorsy girl, this jacket has not let me down. I've used it hiking a "14er" (14,000ft+ mountain) in CO and I also wear it around town and to work. The Windstopper material is AMAZING. It lives up to its name. This jacket is SUPER comfortable and has many adjustments around the wrists and hips for extra windproof protection. Marmot is a stellar brand and is worth the investment.

Love it! | |

I LOVE this jacket! It's a great fit, very well cut through the torso and hits a little below the hip. The windstopper material is great and completely windproof, and the material under the arms allows for breathability without the sometimes uncomfortable pit zips. It's great for any outdoor pursuits, and it's stylish enough to wear out on the town later.

excellent layer | |

| Great windstopper, great layer under shell or vest. I use it on the slopes for sunny days, and golf course when the weather turns blustery. Not for the big busted or broad shouldered, but fits like a glove. I've had a version of this jacket for years and will never give it up! | |

Nice, Cute Jacket | |

| What a great jacket! It is comfortable and an attractive cut. I have the wasabi and it works great on my motorcycle. The angel-wing arms are great for movement without the jacket pulling up over your waist. The material is soft and blocks the wind well while remaining water-resistant and breathable. | |

Great quality, cutely fitted, versitile jacket!

| Definately a snug, athletic fit. Sleeve length was perfect (so many are too long these days)as I am 5'6". Very good quality. Hood is nice size and quality, not just a cheap little stow away like I expected. Overall I am very pleased. | |

Sleeves too short | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
The sleeves on the large are not as long as the sleeves on older Marmot jackets. which is problematic if you're tall.
