The Trestles 15 Degree Synthetic Sleeping Bag brings Marmot quality in a women's specific design that will provide years of reliable warmth for backpacking and river trips. When you need to save space, pack it into the comrpession stuff sack that's included so you can maximize space inside your pack for other important essentials. The SpiraFill high loft insulation is nice and cushy, but also keeps you warm--even when your sleeping bag suffers a watery accident.
Don't let shorter days and falling temperatures keep you inside. The Marmot Women's Trestles 15 weighs less than four pounds, comes with a compression sack, and comes at a price that's hard to refuse. Fall and winter are beautiful times to see the mountains (sorry, early spring - you're "mud season" here in Vermont) and the Women's Trestles 15 will help get you out there.
Feature list from Marmot:
In April 1971, University of California Santa Cruz students Eric Reynolds and Dave Huntley were in Alaska on the Juneau Icefields on a school project in Glaciology. It was here on the glacier, amongst these students, that the idea of a Marmot club began. To become a Marmot, you had to climb a glaciated peak with another Marmot. One of the rules of the club was that everyone was president. Most of the other rules dealt with the collegiate fascination with bodily functions.
Eric and Dave went on to found Marmot Mountain Works in 1974, and through the years the company made lots of innovations in down jackets, sleeping bags, Gore-Tex apparel, and beyond. Their modest enterprise is now one of the largest and most respected outdoor gear companies in the world, distributed in over 60 countries, and it is still all about the highest-quality, innovative performance products.
The Marmot Women’s Trestles 15 Degree sleeping bag is an affordable, no-frills offering for three-season camping. The synthetic fill makes this mummy bag a good option even in damp or humid conditions.

This is a GREAT bag. I use any excuse to sleep in it. It's really comfy. Zips up so far you could just have your nose and mouth poking out. And zips down on both sides if you don't want to feel trapped in it ;) I love that on warm nights I can just unzip at the bottom letting some air in for my feet or to poke a foot out. And the stash pocket is the perfect place for my phone or electronics to be accessed easily and quickly. It's also pretty light and compact for a 15 degree bag at this price and fits nicely in my backpack. Highly recommended for any lady wanting to be comfy and warm in the wild!
I am 5'6" and this bag fits perfectly. I just received it and am impressed by the excellent fit, the quality zippers, and the color. I am happy to report that the zipper and the Marmot logo are in a deep fuchsia color that compliments the two shades of blue on the bag very nicely. There is enough room in the bag to move around a bit, so it does not incite feelings of claustrophobia like some bags can. I am very impressed, and will leave additional info once I have put it to more use!
For the price of this bag, it's pretty good. I've always been a cold sleeper and have only been cold in this bag a few times, mostly during the late fall or early spring. I got it partly to zip together with my boyfriend's Trestles which is a great way to use it. However, the zipper on the women's bag is shorter than the men's, which is a pain when you're trying to get them apart to re-pack them. That's my only complaint; I'd recommend this bag.
After a year of trial my wife is really happy with her bag. It worked well in the summer with the extra 1/2 side zip open and through the fall it's kept her warm even when damp... We'll use it down into the 30s but she likes to sleep warm so layers up well at those temps
Regulates body temperature very well - perfect for a fall trip w/ nights in the 50s and lower. I am 5'8" and got the women's left zip/long so that it can mate with my boyfriend's bag. Backcountry's price was the best around - shipped very quickly, too!
i love the marmot logo. very warm and comfortable and packs easily and pretty small. zipper is good about not snagging. perfect amount of foot space!
