| This is my third pair of MBT's and they are all great. Before I got my first pair, I found myself waking up in the morning with aching arches - like they needed to be stretched, similar to a sore muscle. I thought I would give these shoes a try and they totally remedied the problem. Once I started wearing MBT's, it was impossible to go back to regular shoes - they are just too comfortable, a totally different walking experience. I did not have any soreness or break in period as is suggested might happen when you start wearing them. I was looking for a black pair of MBT's - when the Kafala became available I thought they were the best combination of sport/dress that MBT was offering so I got them. They are a terrific shoe. All MBT's are constructed very well, but one thing I like about the Kafala is the smooth leather around the collar and padded tongue. I find that the nubuck collar around the Chapa requires wearing a sock that has some acrylic in it as the collar pulls on 100% cotton socks. The smooth leather collar on the Kafala works with any sock, and combined with the padded tongue just feels right and totally comfortable from day one. | |

| I own a pair of MBT sandals so I was familiar with their Anti-shoe technology and am very fond of it. Because I have plantar fasciitis in both feet, I always wear either Birkenstocks for their excellent arch support or regular shoes with Spenco orthodics, but after working on concrete all day, I look forward to putting on my MBT shoes or sandals as they give me excellent support and totally take pressure off of my heels and the plantar fascia which runs from heel to toes. Specifically, the MBT Kafalas are excellent shoes, very soft leather and very well made. Based on other reviews in which 81% stated they run true to size, I purchased my normal size which is 11 medium, although I always wear wide. They only come in one width and I would have probably been content with that size, although a wee bit snug. However, for peace of mind, I ordered size 11 1/2, knowing that as you go up in size, shoes increase in both length and width. The 11 1/2 are the ones I kept, just a little bit long, but more comfortable in width. I love them. | |

| I have a wide foot (8EEEE). I purchased 8.5. They fit perfect. They do not feel long or like clown shoes. They fit well around the ankle and heel. Another MTB shoe I own is not as good on the ankle. These are my most comfortable shoe; shoe of choice. We walked in Washington DC for three days. My feet did not hurt (just everything else was tired). The only concern is with uneven pavement. MTBs feel awkward. I blame the pavement not the shoe for this issue. They look nice and work for casual business dress or dress shorts. Leather is top quality. | |

| Yeah, they are strange looking when you first see a pair, but these shoes are freakin' incredible! I have L4 and L5 disk damage. I live pretty much in pain. These MBTs are the most pain-free walking I have experienced. When I can afford it, I am going to order more. Wish I had known about these shoes sooner. Size is true-to-fit. Awesome comfort! I go walking in these every other day. I couldn't go walking until I got these. As always, Zappos service is the best. | |

| Almost look like 'normal' shoes. These were my first MBTs. I struggled with spending so much for a shoe. I walk a lot at my office, so I was not concerned with the issues people mentioned about wearing out too fast. So far they are great. Very comfortable. And the rounded sole seems to propel you forward and adds a spring to your step. Plus, you get to be an inch taller! The thick soles are not too noticeable in black. | |

| I purchased the MBT Kafala about a month ago to help relieve the stress I was having due to a hammer toe problem. Results, excellent. I can walk again without any pain because the style of the shoe keeps my toe up off the ground. Would recommend the shoe to anyone. This is the second style of MBT I have purchased in recent months. The first was a more athletic/sport type. Them, them you love um. | |

| This is a perfect everyday shoe. The images does not do it justice -- it looks great in person, much more like a normal shoe than many of MBT's other models (several of which I also own). The Kafala fits me perfectly and provides ideal support for my picky feet. Highly recommended. | |
