I usually buy Mary Jane flats to wear in the summer but the ones I purchase are usually hard to break in, the start to smell (basically because they're cheap). I decided to spend a bit more and these shoes are worth every dollar. They are so comfortable, breathable and there was no break-in time at all. I wore them for hours the first time and they fit just great. I highly recommend these as a great casual, athletic flat...especially for summer. They did run a bit big, I bought an 8 and had to exchange for a 7.5 when I usually wear an 8 all around.
I first bought this shoe after seeing a neighbor wearing it for walking. The Mary Jane style was an improvement over great big tennis shoes. I found them so comfortable that I bought several colors. I also bought several colors for my house hold staff in Mexico. They are on their feet all day often on stone or a hard surface and they are very comfortable for them. Also when the weather is cooler it is possible to put little sox with them and they look very cute. WE are patiently waiting for new colors!
I love these shoes! They are super comfortable. I normally wear a 7, and the 7 was way too big, so I exchanged them for a 6½ and those were perfect. It took a little while to get used to the high back on the heel, but once I wore them a few hours I did not even notice. I highly recommend these shoes, you will not be disappointed, just know they do run a bit big.
I got these last week and I've worn them every day since. They were comfortable from the start, no breaking in period. I absolutely love them and can't wait to buy them in Black. I have them in Taupe. I usually wear an 8 in Merrell shoes as well as others but the 8 was too big so I returned it for a 7.5 and it fits perfectly. I bought these shoes to replace a pair I have worn out. I live in the Phoenix area, it's hot most of the time, so I need a shoe that breathes, as sandals are not always appropriate wear. These are super cute, comfortable and I can walk all day in them and not have tired, aching feet. I love Merrell shoes!
