Will last and last
I have small feet and have to buy kids' size shoes and have found that while the adult shoes tout support, they "skimp" on that same quality in their childrens wear. Not wo with these. I bought my pair (gunsmoke) in 2008 and wear them daily for shopping, walking into work (approx 1.5 mi/day), around the house or camping. I applied waterproofing (Penguin unltradry), and they have not stained. Within the last month or so, the lining has started to wear, and I am sad to say that I think my pair have finally walked their last. After more than 3 years of comfortable, supportive walking, it is time for a new pair. So, I expect that my new pair will last until 2013!
I love these shoes
I am an adult who fits the kids size. I got a pair of these shoes to wear with business casual attire. They were so comfortable, I bought a second pair in a different color and wear them even on the weekend. They are perfect for an office job, church, shopping, walking, with jeans, dress pants, the list goes on and on. They would also be perfect for airline travel; no laces means easy on and off for security, but still comfortable for the walk throughout the airport.
Great uniform school shoes
This is the third year I'm buying these for my now 12 year old son to wear everyday to school for his uniform shoes. He wears them everyday for school and play and they last him all year and then some. They never wear out and always look good even through hard wear, rain, mud, etc. He'll even wear them to play sports unless I make him put on tennis shoes. These are the only shoes he'll wear and for [$] they are the best buy around.
Great shoes for kids!
My 5 year old daughter has used these for over a year. They are her favorite shoes, and go with most of her outfits. We waterproofed them but they did get stained when playing outside after a while. Color (pink) faded in the washer. Would love another pair when these get too small, but would pick a darker color.
Great shoes
I have twin first grade boys who are tough on shoes. One of my boys has a pair and he loves them. Very durable upper. Sole is solid. I have had to "shoe goo" the sole to keep it going. Lasted about 6 months which is excellent given the wear it has received.
Great Performance & Wear
This is the third pair of these shoes we've bought for our son and he grows out of them before they wear out! They clean easily with a suede brush and we've put water repellent on them (nik-wax) with great success. An awesome shoe, especially for kids!
Great Shoe/Great Price
These were for my daughter who loves them. They are very comfortable and so easy to slip on and off when coming in and running out to catch bus, etc. And of course, the fact that they are pink makes them fantastic!

2nd Time Around
This is my 4 year olds' second pair of pink Jungle Mocs. She calls them her "running fast shoes." When she outgrew the last pair, she insisted on getting another pair, same color - pink.
Love these shoes
I bought 2 pair of these Jungle Mocs for my 12 year old grandson. He wears one pair or the other every day to school and leaves his $120 sneakers in the closet.
Neutral Reviews:
Good, but not perfect.
Since I have smallish feet (women's 7), I often get kids' shoes because they're a little cheaper and often come in a better selection of colors. That was the case with my Merrells; I have a kids' pair in huckleberry.
The good:
These are so comfortable I forget to take them off when I get home. They are reasonably water resistant and warm; I walked about a mile with them in 2 inches of snow, and my feet did not get cold or wet. The color is really pretty -- feminine without being obnoxiously girly -- and wears well.
The bad:
These shoes have disappointingly poor traction in bad weather (rain or snow), to the point where I'd be hesitant to buy them as a primary pair of shoes for a child. Also, they smell. Not like feet, but like chemicals. I've heard the same complaint from other people who own Merrells. Not sure what can be done about it.
