Merrell Barefoot Mighty Glove Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

I did not have the clown shoe impression when I got these, but they do run large. I wear an 8½ in other Merrell Barefoot shoes (I have the Pure Glove and the Pace Glove) and these definitely feels larger. Otherwise, they are comfortable out of the box, and look fine with jeans, even they are not the cutest shoe on earth. I go to my VivoBarefoots for that.

I love this shoe; delighted that Merrell came out with a leather version of the Pace Glove, which I also have and use for jogging. The mesh of the Pace Glove is not warm enough, however, for colder weather, so this shoe is welcome indeed. Wish it came in brown. These shoes have transformed my feet from cranky to content. Well done, Merrell! Great service Zappos.

I have a pair of Pace Gloves that I love, and I really wanted this shoe to work as a winter alternative. There is something off about the construction that causes the leather to pucker across the toe giving an unfortunate, clown-like appearance. I'm going to try the Contour Glove, which has a different toe construction. Fingers crossed!

I love this shoe. It does run wide in the toe, but they work great with my wide feet. They are super comfortable and oh so soft inside.

Neutral Reviews:

I love the look of these, and they mostly feel great. I had to send them back because they didn't follow the shape of my foot. Despite the fact that my foot is narrow, the bone just behind my pinkie toe was hanging over the edge. After awhile it hurts. The reason for the hanging-over is that the shoe widens after my foot widens. Again, it's not because I have a wide foot. I actually have trouble finding shoes that are narrow enough for me. People have complained about the shape of this model, and I have to agree. I got the Merrell Barefoot Contour shoes and they fit like a charm. They really do feel so flexible and comfy that it's like I'm walking barefoot. I hope Merrell listens to the complaints and changes the Mighty Gloves so they have the contour of the Contours.
