Positive Reviews:

Good bell. Great value.

This bell has no parts that stick out that can get caught on things or broken. Its design is simple, sleek and would go with almost any bike. My handlebars are black and it really just blends right in. The bell's tone is loud and clear and cheery. At only [$], it really is a great buy.

Negative Reviews:

Doesn't work in the rain

I bought this bell because it sounded pretty good in the store. Unfortunately I quickly learned that it doesn't work if it's raining. The rain will get between the bell and the switch, and dampens the sound to the point that it's useless. It works when it dries out again, but it's still not as loud as many other bells.

I've used a more conventional bell for the past 2 years, and everyone heard it fine. I've been using the Saturn for only 2 days and even in dry weather I've already had one person who didn't hear it and swerved in front of me.

The bell also needs a light touch for a good sound, if you turn it too hard it will partially mute the sound. Best operation is to turn it like a dial with light fingers (which requires taking one hand off the handle), or flick it with your thumb, which can be tricky.

Overall, I would not recommend this product. If you're a fair weather rider, other bells are a little louder. If you ride in the rain, the bell is useless.
