| Poor man's Panerai. I bought this watch because I loved the styling, which is clearly influenced by the Panerai Luminor. And now that I've been wearing it for a few weeks, it really is a wonderful value. Handsome, simple, and substantial, with excellent weight and readability. The quality is high, the weight is perfect, and the screw-down crown feels fine and well-engineered. (NOTE: Although St. Moritz makes a big deal of the luminosity of the hands at night, as if the watch uses some kind of revolutionary glowing technology, it's no more luminous than any other watch I've ever owned. It's fine, but don't expect it to glow in some special way, because it doesn't. Just FYI.) | |

| I treated myself to this watch after being inspired by the watch Kate Hudson wore in the movie "Fool's Gold." They don't make that watch any more, and I got lucky in that after I looked around for something similar I ended up with this watch, which I love! It is sporty but classy, and I've had friends try it on and everyone looks great in it. It is sturdy (heavy). I have 2 other watches by this manufacturer, and St. Moritz is great. You won't regret getting this watch. | |
